Wedding Day Woes. I was not pleased with the "professionalism" of the establishment. I went to Eve's for my wedding flowers. It was a smaller wedding so I only needed bouquets, boutonnieres, Mother's flowers, grandmother's flowers and one large centerpiece arrangement. I went in a few months before the wedding and planned everything out with Eve. She wrote down my order and I thought everything was fine. I paid the price asked and went on my merry way. About 2 weeks before the wedding I went in to check on things and just follow up with her... make sure things were coming along. Not only did Eve not remember me, but she had lost and totally forgotten about my order! I replaced the order, which I shouldn't have done. The morning of wedding, I wake up to a phone call from Eve. She asks me if the centerpiece is going to be against a wall... I explain to her again that the centerpiece would be the main focal point of the reception hall and that no, it would not be against the wall ... as explained when I first placed the order! She then got very aggitated and said that if I wanted this centerpiece to look right, I was going to have to bring her more money... $50 more... because I was taking all her roses. She was rude and not professional in the least! We reluctantly paid the extra $50. When the arrangements finally showed up at the church, the main centerpiece was for the most part, green filler. It had maybe 20 roses. Also, my bouquet was in a triangle shape... I specifically asked for a round bouquet. I feel like I was taken advantage of and then ripped off. I have told every bride I come across about my experience with Eve. Good Luck!
Horrible Customer Service.
A gift basket arrived with 5-6 pieces of molded/damaged fruit. When I called to complain Eve was very apologetic and explainedvthat she had no way of knowing the fruit was damaged. However, when I told her the quantity of fruit that was not ediblebshe said she didn't believe me (as if I would lie forvextra fruit) and sent someone to come pick up the basket.
Eve then callled and argued me down for a good 10 minutes refusing to replace all of the fruit. She even threatened to credit the purchaser and leave me with nothing. She was extremely disrespectful and would not compromise with me.
While I understand she may not have had unsatisfied customers in the past, that's no reason to be rude to one who is unhappy-and with good reason.
Best flowers on the Southside. I have used Eve's Florist for the past 14 years and they have always done the best job on all my arrangements. No matter what I need they are always there for me.
Very nice arrangements. This is a local favorite. They are locally owned and do very nice arrangements.
