Good Sushi. Not bad sushi at all. We will definitely come back. Spicy tune was awesome. My wife thought the salmon was a bit chewy but I did not think so. We were basically happy with all the food. Service was good, too. Smiled.

Good food. Visited Kani House twice and liked it. Only been seated in the sushi bar area which I found to be crowded and not an intimate dinning experience. The tables are extremely close to each other and it feels like you are seated with another party. But the Sushi was good...its hard to find good sushi so north of Atlanta. Will not go here again because of the atmosphere.

Fantastic Hibachi!!. What a great experience! My Mama and I went there for her birthday and had a great time. Our Hibachi Chef, DD was super fun and did a great job on the grill. Helen helped us with our reservation and talked us there when we couldn't quite find it. Our Server, Jane was extremely attentive and very nice. The food was fantastic! They took a really cute picture of me and my mom with a crazy hat on - a great memory to take home with us. Great for special events!

AWESOME!. BEST Japanese hibachi I've ever eaten!!!!!!!!!!! All of the food at Kani is so fantastic it practically melts in your mouth, from the veggies to the sauces to the meats and sushi (which I typically would've never eaten until I went to Kani). It is all wonderful. A typical wait is about an hour without a reservation, but well worth it. Prices are more than fair for the excellent quality of food you receive and of course, the entertainment involved from the cooks. If you are reading these reviews because you are "on the fence", please go and you will be pleasantly surprised...I promise :)

Good Hiachi For Towne Lake. I live in Towne Lake and don't expect too much from the restaurants (though I wish I could), so I feel like Kani House delivers decent hibachi. I've never tried the sushi, but they do offer it. The asthetic is authentic-feeling and like most Japanese steakhouses. There is usually a wait on the weekends.

User review by hoffme1. had a reservation for 15. Sat us in 3 seperate tables. Service was average but 18 percent charge was automatically put on bill even though cook forgot chicken dish that was ordered. I feel the 18 percent was too high. Its not like one or two waitresses handled a big table. We were spread out and there was a seperate cook at each table.

Never again.....

Japanese steak and sushi house dishing up fresh bites in festive surroundings.. In Short
A massive menu of Japanese staples draws adventurous diners in droves. Starters range from miso soup to pan-fried gyoza and crunchy spring rolls. Popular meal selections include hibachi filet mignon, vegetable tempura and teriyaki chicken. The sushi menu brims with ebi and suzuki nigiri, tuna nori maki, avocado rolls and golden bridge rolls, a spicy tuna number with cream cheese wrapped in massago with unagi and avocado on top.

Best Sushi I've Had. By far the best tasting sushi and Japanese food I've had since Nobu, and this is 1/3rd of the price. Ridiculously clean restaurant, and the staff is so friendly! I go here at least once a week. I'm addicted!
