My daughter only goes once a week for 30 min., and in this short amount of time she has learned a lot. I feel a lot of ground is covered for such a short period of time. In her informal recital, she did display skills and steps that were learned in class. Each week, they progress more and more. It seems that if the teacher feels the child is ready to learn faster and more, she will tailor it towards that. In the end, my daughter loves it, and that's what matters. I would recommend this dance studio.
Worst example of a dance studio.
My daughter took dance at this facility before it was Dance Fever and she loved it. After it was sold she wanted to go back and take another dance class. After almost $300 in tuition and $52 for a costume and $27 for shoes in the "informal recital" her routine was 49 SECONDS!!!! And you had to PAY to get in to see this 49 second routine! There was no visual given of any skill learned. When this was addressed the owner only stated that this was an informal routine. The owner never addressed the fact that the children showed no knowledge of skills they had "learned". So do not waste your money or your childs time!!
