Tips for Cobb County Kia

Great dealership! I've been a customer for 11 years and I'm on my 4th KIA. Just purchased the SOUL and I love it! My sales person, Morris, was very nice and informative. And Ed in finance was great! I will remain a loyal customer.

Thank you so much Ross Adams for making my car buying experience wonderful.. Last Monday I totaled my car and was so not looking forward to having to buy another one. My wonderful sister-in-law told me to go to Cobb County Kia. And she was so right. Ross listened to my wants and did everything in his power to put me in the car of my dreams at a payment I could afford.. Eugene King special Finance Director. Was also wonderful walked me through all the paper work. Thanks again and I will refere my friends and family .

We had a great experience at Cobb County Kia. Jeremy Herring was our salesmen and he didn't come across pushy and answered our questions. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family. We are going to enjoy our new car.

Thank you,

Doug and Daina Patterson

Amazing!!!!!!!!! First of all my wife and I and our one month old son where looking for a SUV. We went to Cobb County Kia test drove the Sorento and then decided we wanted to look at another SUV over A Carl Black Chevrolet. DON'T GO TO CARL BLACK!!!!! Those guys were going to put me in a 2012 (the last 2012 of that model on the lot). They wanted the same amount for a 2012 with over 500 miles on it as a 2013. We also has a trade in that they were not going to even give blue book for. Worst experience ever. Salesman did not have that im going to put you in a car no matter what attitude. They did not even have any consideration for my wife and a baby being present. We went back to Kia and let me tell you that's where the AMAZING part happened!! We had meet Cecil Stallings earlier in the day and he was great as well he gave us no pressure and lets us leave to try other cars first. He made a very good impression on me so that had a lot to do with us going back to Kia. He was busy when made it back so he set us up with he partner Josh White. Mr. White jumped right in and said guys are you ready to drive home in a new car tonight? While working numbers dealing with are trade and getting paper work he made sure that my wife and son had everything they needed. He understood that she may need a private room for feeding due to the fact we were getting low on milk and such. Josh worked hard and fast and got the best deal for us and more than blue book for my trade. Josh is a very upbeat and exciting guy. He worked long after his shift was over to help us drive out of there with a new car. I will like to also say a great job to Sales mangers and business mangers for there work as well. Mr.White is the guy you want to see when you go to Cobb County Kia he is a straight shooter no B.S. kind of guy. Thanks JOSH.

My experience with Cobb County Kia was the best. I went to look on a Saturday, after coming from another dealership down the street, where I was dealing with a VERY pushy car salesman. When I arrived at Kia, I was immediately greeted with a smile by Darren and asked who I was there to see. I said I was there to see the Finance Manager. Since the Finance Manager was tied up at the moment, I went to take a look at the cars on the lot and Darren came out with the keys to the 2013 Kia Optima EX that I was looking at. We took it for a test drive, and I loved it. Darren was very helpful, friendly, funny, and very personable. Not pushy at all, and understood that I was there just looking. I went back two days later and bought the car! Probably the best experience I have had purchasing a car. The customer service was impeccable and I am so happy with my NEW 2013 Kia Optima!

On December 22, 2012 I went to Cobb County Kia to purchase a 2013 Kia Sorento for my wife as a Christmas present. I had done my research about the car online, unfortunately I had not done the same on the dealership. Upon arrival at the dealership I was greeted by a sales associate and shown the car that I had researched online. After a quick test drive we sat down to discuss the price, I was quickly informed that the price that is shown online includes several discounts such as military, Coke employee, recent college graduate, owner of a competitor’s car, ext. and I would not qualify for any of these. After a little more negotiation we settled on a price and started filling out the paperwork. As I was signing the last loan document to finalize the sale the sales associates walked in and told me that there was a problem. The dealership had attached the wrong stock number to the car that I test drove and had provided me a price based on a different car! The car they had priced me for had already been sold to another dealership, they told me that the price would now be $3,000 more! To make it even better they took me out to the car to show me how they made the mistake and told me that they had done this several time before and had even sold the wrong car in the past. I informed them that I was not the one who made the mistake and I would not pay one dollar more than the price that we had agreed on, they then informed me that they could not do that. After all of this my wife and I decided to go to Ed Voyles Kia to take one more look at the Sorento, and I am glad that we did. The service there was AMAZING, no issues with the dealership trying to sell the wrong car or hiking the price up on me at the last second. I would caution anybody thinking of going to Cobb County Kia to read the reviews online, I am not the only one with a story to tell, and go to Ed Voyles.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!. I contacted the dlrship on 8/31 to inquiry about the Soul. As instructed I filled out an online application for financing and replied back to the sales associate. I rec'd a call on 9/1 encouraging me to go into the dlrship. I rec'd a vip guest member number. When I went to the dlrship no one knew I was going to be there, they didn't know what the vip guest member number was and couldn't locate the application I filled out online. I went through the financing steps and the person in the finance dept rushed through the process, made untrue statements, and left. I was given the paper work to sign to purchase the vehicle before having an opportunity to drive the vehicle. After I expressed my concern about being pushed into purchasing the vehicle I was given the vehicle to drive overnight and was told I would have financing options available for me to choose from when I arrived on 9/2. On 9/2 when I showed up I was not giving options. I decided to purchase the vehicle anyway. The dlrship agreed to check the alignment, ac and provide me with a key fob. I was instructed to drop the vehicle off on 9/5 and return on 9/6 to pick the vehicle up. I did just that and on 9/6 when I showed up they tried to give me the key w/o the key fob and it was admitted nothing was done to the vehicle. I was told the part would be ordered and return on 9/7. I verified on 9/7 that my car was ready for pick up and when I got there the car still didn't have a key fob. I told the dlrship personnel repeatedly that I was driving over 40 miles, but that didn't deter them from wasting my time. I still don't have my vehicle in my possession. I wouldn't recommend this dealership. They make a lot of statements, but lack follow through. They lack in professionalism, commitment and communication. They definitely don't care about referrals and repeat customers.

VEHICLE PURCHASE NIGHTMARE!. On May 14, 2010, I purchased a 2003 Volkswagen Passat at the above named dealership. I have had the car for a little over 10 weeks, and it has been in and out of the service department more than 8 times, towed twice because it would not start and the check engine light comes and goes at random intervals. The company that service's the warranty that was sold with the car..have begun to reject claims because they question that the vehicle was sold with major mechanical problems.

I have tried on several occations to resolve the issue with Tim Dawson, the General Sales Manager and Elvis Pressly, the General Manager, but they ABSOLUTELY DO NOT CARE, that I have a vehicle that will not start; the check engine light is on, and I have been left stranded repeatedly as a result of it.

I'm making car payments on a car that is sitting, one that I cannot crank and nobody knows how to fix it. I don't feel safe in the Passat I purchased and at a minimum I would expect that the dealership would exchange the vehicle for one that is mechanically sound; standing by the vhicle they sold me with a smile, but apparently once the car leaves their lot, they are DONE.

DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM COBB COUNTY KIA. YOUR PURCHASE WILL BE A NIGHTMARE!
