“Granted, there are some horrible employees and attitudes out there, but Davids at Town Center took the cake!”
“While I have had some very unpleasant gown-shopping experiences, I believe the quality of service depends on the management of the store and the quality of employees who work there.”
Horrible Place!!!!! Don't go!!.
Do yourself a favor and stay away! Worst customer service EVER! Once you buy the dress, they are done. They say they will steam it for you but don't tell you that if you have alterations done somewhere else, they won't touch the dress.
They also told the Mother of the Groom it was ok for her to wear the same color dress as the Mother of the Bride. I guess they will say anything to make the sale!!
Very impressed!.
After hearing seedy reviews of this formal wear chain, I visited as a last resort. I was pleasantly surprised. Very.
In fact, I was so impressed, I ended up getting my dress here after visiting the more posh, quaint boutiques throughout Atlanta.
First, I browsed the store and made it clear to the receptionist that I was not there to try on gowns. I found some impressive gowns, so I made an appointment for the next day.
I received absolutely stellar service from K. Brady: friendly, sweet, supportive, patient, great sense of humor, and a genuine talent for matching personality, body type, and circumstance to the appropriate wedding gown. She spent two hours with me, and I tried about 20 dresses. I narrowed it down to two dresses, and I couldn't decide. She never once pressured me to buy. I was relieved I could even put the dress on layaway one I did decide.
It was a crowded, busy Saturday at the store, but I did not once feel stressed, overwhelmed, or neglected. In fact, I had a lot of fun! I was so impressed!

Wedding dress hunting ground for real-world brides on a budget. Princesses need not apply..
In Short
A chic, sleek boutique, it's not. But those willing to look carefully will likely find a big-time bargain. The staff is helpful and knows the merchandise but doesn't provide extensive one-on-one attention or advice. Stores (particularly on weekends) can be swamped with brides-to-be. David's specializes in beaded satin A-lines and simple lace sheaths that just hit the $500 mark. Most labels are tasteful but of medium-quality: Gloria Vanderbilt, Lady Eleanor, Oleg Cassini and the likes.
Not bad. I had heard many bad reviews about this place, but I thought I would give them a try. They had a very large selection and the sales girl I worked with was very helpful and nice. I would recommend going early on the weekends since it can get very busy.
