Poor customer service

Imagine this...it is two days before your daughters wedding rehersal dinner at The Briar Patch...you call to confirm the menu, and you are told that "we don't do buffet dinners in our restraunt. That would set a precident for everyone else." I had previously spoken with a manager and confirmed the date, and we spoke about the seating area, and the menu. I was told that there would be no problem. I stoped by 3 days before the "confirmed" rehersal dinner, and was told by another manager that there would be no problem.
Imagine my stress level when, at the last minute I had to find another restraunt to cater the buffet for only 40 people. I did find an incrediabaly nice restraunt manager who understood my delema, and offered to help me in any way he could.
The Briar Patch manager seemed to " not care " about losing the business, or helping a customer. The food is good, but the attitude leaves MUCH to be desired. This is a restraunt that I have frequented for the past 30+ years. It will never be graced with my, or anyone that I know's presence again.
- Pros: it's there
- Cons: not there for the people who need it
