Neighborhhod Bar that gets it. WE have been to this bar several times over the past few months and LOVE IT. We usually go on Friday and Saturday nights and the service is ecellent. IT is truly a neighborhood bar with many of the regulars living near the bar. The staff is always freindly and accomodating. The two bartenders, Michelle and Natelie, are fantastics. Great drinks are the norm and they will even help you find something new. If they make you a drink and you do not like it, well, they fix it without attitude. Not many bars in and around Atlanta you can say that about. So if you want a good time with friendly folks, decent food and a fun evening without breaking the bank, Bonz is it on the west side.

Don't even waste the time. I have visited Bonz three times in the past month or so. Every time I go I hear that "it is usually packed". HARD TO BELIEVE ANYTHING COULD BE THIS BAD. There is an older woman who waits table that can't bring a beer in 25 minutes. Once I could not order food because acording to her they had none. Second time it took an hour to get a burnt burger with only 30 people (including the staff) in the place. Last time I gave up on food and ordered just a beer. Good thing I was quick with the order too since I was told it was the last one they had cold (once again there were maybe 30 people in the place). It is dark, smokey, filthy and appears to be not well run. A short, gruff fat guy stands outside and ask for the door charge (like two bucks), for what I do not know. It really is the sorriest excuse for a bar/club I have seen in years.........I even thought about asking is Douglas County had heath inspectors to go through the place. Save yourselves and avoid this HOLE.

Not quite what you expect. This is a great place to be! Service is wonderful! There is something going on every night of the week with pool tournaments, trivia, karaoke, DJ and sports galore. You won't believe it unless you try it!
