“They have been a staple in Cartersville for many years and carry a great variety of he.”
Worst business in Cartersville. My wife has just left this store. The CVS and Publix were out of her prescription so we transferred it to Holt's because they had it in stock. She was told it would be fifteen minutes or so and took two hours from when she called then waited with the six teenager working/ hanging out there. The pharmacist asked where she had transferred from and she stated CVS. She asked what the charge would be and they said twice as much as she pays at CVS. After she said that out loud the pharmacist CALLED HER A LIAR and stated he had the best prices in town. Not liking his response she called CVS from his store and asked them to look it up. She was right and he insisted she was still "not telling the truth". To badger someone with a chronic illness in front of other people and continue even when they are wrong is sick.
Good Luck. Don't take any RX into Holt's if it is a controlled substance, they act like you are a drug head. Never mind the surgey you just had!
Bad service. I will never use this pharmacy again. I asked him to transfer my medication to another pharmacy and he refused. He told me to call my doctor it was too early but I was not transferring it to fill it just to get it away from him. So, I called my rheumatologist because she has time to deal with pharmacists who think they are the voice of morality for everyone. The nurse said she did not understand his issue since the medicine had never been transferred there was no reason for him to hold it. I called my insurance since two weeks earlier I finally got an insurance plan again. They said there was no law giving him the right to hold my prescription and that I was complete within my rights do move it if I wanted too. They also said that according to the date he filled it that I could fill it if I wanted and they would pay the cost but for 5 dollars. He has the attitude that if he does not agree with how you want to handle you medication he should step in and stop you and make you do it how he thinks you should. I called the pharmacy he refused to send it too and that pharmacist did not understand his problem either. Mr. Holt does not care about your legal rights or the fact that he is not entitled to hold your medication according to the federal and state guidelines because he will do it anyway. He does not understand that he takes pills out of a big bottle and counts them into a little bottle nothing more. He does not understand that there are laws that dictate what a person can and cannot do with their medication and his personal convection of what he thinks should be allowed does not matter.
