Bad Business. I needed tires today so I called Johnson Tire Company in Cartersville where I live. I was told there were four of the particular tires I wanted, that they were in stock and ready for me to purchase. When I got there they told me that they did not have them but they were on their way. I thought that was a bit of a disappointment being lied to but understandable from a selling standpoint.

I asked to see the tires when they got in from where ever it is they get them from as they are a 'white wall' Michelin 225/60r16. Twenty minutes later the woman at the counter came to me apologetically with the news that they did not have four, only three and it woud be Monday before they could sell me the fourth. I declined and told her she could call me Monday on my cell to follow up if she wants. Another 20 minutes went by as I sat waiting for my car with my grandson, I could see they had the wheels off my car and it was up on a lift. At this point I am frustrated. Forget the fact that I asked to be shown the tires before making a purchasing decision but I was tod they had them on hand then told they were waiting for them then told they only had three! 10 to 15 minutes later, 50 minutes total I looked back and there was my car sitting up on the lift still, no one workng on putting my wheels back on. I had enough at this point and asked that they get my car down. They did and I was finlally on my way....until my left rear tire went flat. I had the flat fixed at another company where the manager and tech had informed me that, in their opinions, the tire had been intentionally damaged with what looked like a sharp instrument piercing thru it. I took the tire back to Johnson Tire where everyone denied any wrong doing. I told them I wasn't buying their coincidence theory and they had better be aware that an eleven year old boy could have been seriously injured with this criminal act. Please trade elsewhere if you can. Very sad that this can't be proven but at least all who work there know with my going back that there is a criminal and a coward among them.
