Beware of 'doctor' Dopson. He is physically and mentally abusive to his patients.
Doctors may be great, but beware of their customer service.
When I needed a second opinion regarding an orthopaedic surgery recommendation, I checked both online and with 2 medical professionals I know for which doctor/practice would be a good choice. I read rave reviews on Resurgens online and it was the first choice suggested by both of my friends. However, I have been VERY disappointed with the customer service provided by the main office.
Each time I have called with questions, I have been given information that has turned out to be either incorrect or only "partially" correct...that was including how to go about getting a second opinion from one of their doctors, about hours various locations were open, about the staff member I should be talking to about my situation, and so on. In the end, I did finally manage to get my records to one of their offices. Last week, a message was left for me to call and set up an appointment. At the time, I breathed a sigh of relief that I was through with the other problems with the office. HOWEVER, after several days and leaving multiple messages, I have yet to hear back from the person who called to schedule me.
The front office is a direct reflection of the organization and service provided by a medical practice. Unfortunately, the reflection I have been provided for Resurgens isn't one that inspires confidence in the practice or the medical professionals who work there.
It is even more frustrating that I have to go back through the process of getting a copy of my medical records, including x-rays and MRI for which I get to pay out of pocket since it is a second request for disks of each, and that I will lose another couple hours of work time so that I can seek a 2nd opinion from a different practice.
Beware - Wait 90+ minutes. Made appointment for 9:30 and at 11:10 they said it would be another 15 to 20 minutes. They just don't care about our time. I got my money back and left.
Bad Doctors. My wife was seeing Dr. Archcar in Douglasville. He was treating her for very arthic knees. He gave her a 5 shots over a period of 5 weeks. She was in bad pain, he refuse to give her anything for pain. She couldn't walk, she had to be taken out every time in a wheelchair. She hasn't been able to walk now in over 7 weeks. She can't go to work because she can't walk on a concrete floor all day. I took a temp. disabilty form for them to fill out and they refused to fill it out because they say that he never took her out of work. I told him every visit that she couldn't work because she couldn't walk on a concrete floor all day. She tryed and came home, I had to get her out of the jeep in a wheelchair. Now she will not only get discipablty payment but she will loose her job because they want write a return to work notice which is required. This is a also a result of insurance co. POS BS. I have been treated by this same doctors myself 3 times, never again. They are very unprofessional.
Poor Management...Chastain. I have left several messages (3)month period with the Chastain /Kennesaw office manager Cammy McChesek (last name maybe misspelled), and she refuses to return my calls. I had a concern regarding my bill. I did not leave a full context message only my name and telephone to both home and cellphone and the request for a return call at her earliest convenience. You would think that a manager of a healthcare facility would have excellent customer service skills by returning all business related calls. This shows me that she has no compassion for people and is only concerned with her pay check and what her boss doesn't know about (not returning phone calls) and probably won't find out about her not returning calls or addressing customer /clients or any person's concern. How could she be concerned, if her calls are not returned??? She is NOT a good manager, if she can not resolve simple matter (ignoring people is NOT acceptable). I would never return to this office and do not recommend this office (Chastain) to any person because if you need the office manager to address a concern unless you are demanding to see her while in the office, she will probably not return your calls and ignor you.
HORRIBLE PATIENT SERVICE. Rosenstein put my wife on a lifting restriction that kept her from starting a job after she told him she had a back injury four years ago. That would have been acceptable, if she had any symptoms now. She saw a Resurgens physical therapist, who did a basic exam and quickly determined that she was fine (Thanks Doug, for a breath of sanity). Rosenstein then made her wait a week to see him again to clear her, and then was unaware of why she was visiting him. DO NOT use Dr. Rosenstein. Completely out of touch, this doctor kept her from earning a paycheck for two weeks and showed not the slightest inkling of concern.
