Great for us. Glade has been great for us. My family has enjoyed our dock and our friends there. We like the big grounds and rural feel.

I'm impressed!. I am new to Glade and I am impressed so far by what is available to me.

Pros:

-Covered dock for a decent price.

-Lots of pretty land to hike/walk/bike on (I bring my bike sometimes).

-5 minute boat ride to a gas dock. Pump out too.

-Nice service shop with mechanic certified for my Mercruiser.

-Decent shower house with what looks like new fixtures.

-Sheltered cove with no passing boat wakes.

-Nice RV campground next door. McKnney.

-The glade people have been nice and helpful to me so far.

Cons:

-Dock are old fashioned, but my girlfriend says they are "cute".

-Security gate is a hassle after hours if I forgot my gate card.

Great place to dock your boat. Glade is cool. It has an old timey feeling like my summer camp - a big park with walking and bike trails. Docks are wood, but well kept. Were in a quiet cove protected by a piece of land, no boat wakes here. Good picnic spots and marina faces west for great sunset watching. Can't wait to get back out there again this spring and summer.

Ihear the new manager is changing things for the good. Just updated the bathrooms and keeping things clean. He gets it. And we like it that gas and pumpout are 5 mins. across the lake at another marina, so we have the services close by without the outside boat traffic, noise, and smells to bother us.

BEWARE OF THIS MARINA. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE HAD SUCH A HORRIABLE EXPERIENCE WITH THE LAKE

IV'E ALWAY'S HAD A GREAT TIME ON THE WATER AND THIS PLACE HAS LEFT A BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH !

FIRST OF ALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER HAD AND THE OFFICE IS VERY UNORGANIZED

THE DOCKS ARE POORLY MANAGED AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH DISGUSTING RESTROOMS!

THEY DO NOT HAVE GAS PUMPS, A PUMP OUT, OR RESTUARANT, THEY DO HOWEVER HAVE A COKE MACHINE, BUT IT NEVER WORKS AND IS ALSO GOOD AT STEALING YOUR MONEY

BOATERS AND LAKE PEOPLE PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LOOK ELSWHERE!
