The Scene
The owner, Monique Escudie, does more than 200 weddings a year, but is careful not to overbook so she can give each bride individual attention. She's particularly attentive to her clients' needs, tapping into 20-plus years of floral experience to work with style and budget considerations. Having worked weddings all over the world, Monique is especially gifted at planning international affairs. She's also been trained in photography and makeup design coloring, which allows her to choose colors that will enhance skin tones and look good in photos.
The Goods
All floral arrangements are custom-designed to coordinate with the theme of the wedding, whether it's traditional or modern, intimate or enormous. Monique artfully arranges simple bouquets of whites and creams as well as unusual assemblages of wild hues.

Awesome Blossom did the flowers for my wedding.They were beautiful. The road that led up to my wedding day was not so beautiful. I first met with Monique and she has you sign saying you will pay her half this original estimate (2500 dollars!) if you cancel. It took 3 weeks to get a second meeting with her . I prepared endlessly for the meeting choosing flowers I liked from magazines, etc. It was a total of 45 minutes in which she did not look at one picture that I had brought and shuttled me out saying that she had a "10,000 dollar wedding meeting" to get to. Very unprofessional! . I was told "no" to every flower choice I liked - dahlias, peonies, ranunculas, etc. All were out of season. All that was available was hydrangea and roses. I found out later that this is not true and was told by florists that she probably limits your flower choices to increase her profit margin. I did some extensive research that showed peonies and dahlia are available for my wedding date with growers , local florists, designers, and emailed her my results. Her response was if I got the flowers shipped to her she would use them. Do not waste your precious time and energy as a bride doing this because wholesalers will not sell to you - which I am SURE she knows. I resigned myself to the fact I would not get the flowers I had always wanted and would have to live with it. After making a big stink, I finally got my peonies. Overall, working with her caused me alot of stress ( feeling angry, lied to), her not having my correct email, giving me incorrect estimates that I had to fix, etc. But, the flowers turned out to be beautiful. The arch she did for the ceremony was gorgeous! Was it worth the stress? My advice, if you work with Monique, do not sign anything until you know for sure what you want and that she can deliver.

Reasonable, and Monique is very good about working with a budget. There's no minimum or maximum, but you'll get what you pay for, of course.
