John Andrew Hardwood Flooring stinks. I visited this company's reference customer and saw good results. They promised to do the job to my satisfaction and absolutely did not do so. I have dust, hair and sanding grit trapped under the polyurethane on at least half of the boards. They came out to try to make it better, and some of the dust and grit is gone, but they left semicircular sanding marks all over the place. When I showed the owner, John Andrew, he said that it is just a floor and that there is nothing wrong with it. We agreed to disagree, since I had to get back to living in my house. I've showed neighbors, who said that they would not be happy with the job either. That has already cost this company two jobs that he could have had.

Additionally, for the carpet replacement, he quoted 255 square yards, while two other firms quoted 155 and 160 square yards.

Do not do business with this company.
