Fabulous Frames, Great Service. My friends in Duluth recomended Sugarloaf Eye Care so I made the treck over and it was so worth the drive! They had the most amazing selection of designer frames I've ever seen in one place. The staff took their time with me and helped me find several frames that looked great, fit great, were at my price point and went well with my coloring. I am just SO pleased with the service - I recomend them to EVEYONE!!!

Great Staff, Wonderful Experience, Excellent Service. I was referred to Sugarloaf Eyecare by one of my friends who just raved about them. It is a little far from my home, but trusted it would be worth it. I was looking to get some new eyeglasses and sunglasses so I called to make an appointment. The staff was very friendly and the doctor was incredible. After my exam, the doctor actually took the time to compare my new prescription to my old glasses (I did not have my previous prescription, but they were able to tell from my old eyeglasses) and explain how it has changed slightly over the past few years. They helped me with finding the perfect frames for my face and style! THANK YOU!

I also needed (wanted) some new sunglasses. I have several already, but couldn't resist. I picked out a new pair of sunglasses and then explained that my favorite sunglasses of all time (Oakley Juliets - I have had them for 9 years) are loose at the nose piece and the lenses have some scratches on them. After a trip to my car to get them, they said they could get new lenses for me and tighten the nose piece (takes a special tool). They called me a few days later and said they were ready! I am so happy I found this place and will never go anywhere else for my eyeglasses/ sunglasses!!

Friendly Staff, Best Doctors & Coolest Eyewear. I was very pleased with my service on several occasions. The staff is very helpful and the doctors are very knowledgeable. They carry some pretty stylish frames although now I don’t have a need for any as I recently had LASIK done. I had all my pre and post-op LASIK visits done here and they have been very caring and seem to go out of their way just to make you happy. 5 stars for the staff of Sugarloaf Eye Care!!!

Poor eyeglass lens grinding. I paid extra to buy a pair of Oakley prescription frames from Sugarloaf Eyecare and was disappointed to find that the eyeglass technician did not properly grind and position the lens within the frame. The lens was too large, causing a gap where the tiny screw holds the lens in place.

My wife drove back to Sugarloaf Eyecare to have the lens fitted properly while I was at work. I returned from work to find that the technician had managed to make the lens fit but scratched the frame and replaced the discreet dark brown Oakley screw with a large silver screw. Rather than return the glasses for more substandard repairs and possibly more damage, I decided to settle. The lens pops out of the frame at least three times per week. Extremely annoying. Terrible craftsmanship, lack of regard for customer service, and poor follow through can all be found at Sugarloaf Eyecare.

Poor customer service & follow through!. I went in to get new contacts in time for a wedding I am going to be in. They were supposed to order a trial pair of lenses for me. It has been 3 weeks and they still don't have them. Basically, they forgot to order them for me. I now have no contacts to wear to the wedding. There glasses selection is OK, but I've seen better at other places. The doctor was nice enough but I am very disatisfied with the overall customer service and follow through on getting me my contacts.
