In defense of this great restaurant. The food and service is always terrific. But that's not what I'm writing about. What I'm writing about is a defense for Emerald China's so called "shady" prices.

Emerald China doesn't have shady prices in the slightest. The prices are very affordable for the quality and quantity of the food you receive. What many of these "patrons" think is a "shady" price is just the menu price + sales tax. The menu doesn't include sales tax, and if you do the math the $0.40 to $1.00 "extra" you get charged, is just sales tax.

So these "patrons" that wont ever eat at this great restaurant again because they didn't do a little arithmetic just seem childish.

Emerald China is a great restaurant. The prices are very affordable and all of their dishes are amazing, especially their mango shrimp and honey braised chicken. And to all the people that think the prices are 'shady", do a little math and realize that its just sales tax.

Shady Menu Pricing. Check your bill everytime you go here. We've been overcharged each time. Sometimes, it is 60 cents. Sometimes, it is a 1.00. While this is not a lot of money to be overcharged, the point is that it is unethical. Several co workers have experienced the same thing, so the restaurant is doing this on purpose.

Best Hot and Sour Soup in the city!. Two colleagues swear by this Chinese restaurant, so we headed there for lunch today. It was a little out of our way from the office, but well worth the drive. My friends spoke highly of the Hot and Sour soup, and they were right on – best I’ve ever had. My favorite dish is Sesame Chicken, and Emerald China’s did not disappoint. We were in an out in a flash and completely satisfied. Too bad we have to go back to work!

Always a good choice. Having a Chinese restaurant that you can count on is essential. Emerald China always delivers. The atmosphere is that of an older inexpensive Chinese place. There is always seating available and the service is always prompt. The quality of the food is excellent. I have eaten there at least 50 times and tried just about everything on the menu and it is all top notch. Our family favorites are the Shrimp Lo Mein and the General Chung's Chicken. If you need a good Chinese place in Duluth, try this one.

My favorite chinese food place ever.. I have lived in Duluth, Ga all my life, and my family has been going to that restaurant since it was built. I have a large family of 7 including myself, so we always went as a family. Everyone will want to eat there. It's the one place you can agree on. I love it, and the egg rolls are amazing. I get one every time. I also love the carrot flowers. They're always fresh.

Best Chinese Food I've had in Atlanta. I am new to the area, and hd not found a great Chinese restaurant until now. All I had seen in the Atlanta area were "Super Buffets" with lots bland food. Emerald China is a traditional sit-down Chinese restaurant. They bring you hot tea without asking. The hot and sour soup is wonderful. Gneral Chung chicken would be my last meal on Earth. All around, this is the best Chinese restaurant in town.
