Tips for Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse
Service was horrible.. The food was slow to arrive at the table. The waiter was very friendly the one time we saw him which was when he took our order. Our drinks were not refilled, the manager approached the table at one point to ask how our experience was going and we jokingly told her that we were thirsty - she said she'd take care of it. Never saw her again either. My husband and I ordered the salmon which was horrible. The others in our party didn't complain about the food - we were all just very disappointed in the service. As I said the waiter never returned to ask if we'd gotten what we ordered, if we were happy with it, if we needed anything else - we even had to request the bill from someone and it was delievered by another waitress. The atmosphere was fun, however I wouldn't give it a thumbs up at all.
Awesome steaks, great service, lodge atmosphere. We tried Bugaboo Creek for the first time over the weekend and will definitely go back. We ordered BBQ Chicken Nachos for an appetizer (sounds odd but was fantastic) and each ordered steaks. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the portions of food were huge. We had a Chocolate Cookie dessert cooked in a skillet for dessert. The cookie was chewy and warm and the icecream was awesome. My husband loved the lodge atmosphere with authentic antiques and other decorations. I'd definitely recommend to friends and family.

Named for a mountain range in the Canadian Rockies, this restaurant's interior evokes the inviting atmosphere of a rustic hunting lodge. Talking animal heads provide side-show entertainment, but the primary attraction is the steak: prime cuts of sirloin, T-Bone, ribeye and prime rib. Hungry patrons are satiated by large portions of spit-roasted chicken, grilled salmon and Canadian jambalaya. Dessert lovers indulge with the chocolate "moose" cake, decadent layers of white chocolate mousse.
Great Place. The service and the people at Bugaboo Creek are excellent. However, the chairs in the dining room are painful to sit in. The design pushes a tree limb into the middle of the back. Cushions could take care of this. The waiters and waitresses are very curtious and helpful and make the dining experience pleasant. I would eat there again but I would ask for a booth. My waitress Mary Ann was super pleasant and helpful.
Simply Wonderful. There is just something to be said about chain restaurants...usually it is, "this is rather usual.." This was not the case here, the drinks were great , the wait staff was wonderfull, and the food was a Unreal...it's no Ruth, or Bones.. But with kids is reasonably priced and a surprisingly good meal!!
