A Gwinnett County Staple!

I'm really disappointed by reading some of the negative reviews about Gwinnett Place Mall, it has been around forever and has survived the many changes that the city and county have endured. To be honest, it has MOST of the great stores you would find in any mall; Macy's, Sears, JCPenney, Belk, Victoria's Secret, Gap, Abercrombie & Fitch, Forever 21, American Eagle, Express, Bath & Body Works, Yankee Candle etc. Right outside the mall they have a Macy's furniture and home goods store which very, very few Atlanta malls can offer.

No mall can compare to its central location, right off of 85. Plus there's tons of additional shopping and great dining nearby. Marshall's, TJ Maxx and Bed, Bath & Beyond are just a hop, skip and a jump away. If you can't find what you're looking for at the mall, you can always try there. There are dining options galore, from a newly remodeled McDonalds to the date favorite Italian restaurant, Provinos.

Why would you drive miles and miles away when you could easily get all your shopping done at GPM? Sure there are some smaller, independent stores that have opened but I love shopping in stores that others don't have access to. And I would much rather support local business versus larger chain stores that will make money regardless.

I think it is irresponsible for us to abandon our local malls and shopping stores and move on to "better" or "brighter" facilities. The only people who we are hurting are ourselves and our community.

GMP has everything I need when I want to go shopping, including an Auntie Anne's (yum!). I don't need to go to a newer mall to take advantage of Macy's sales or Victoria's Secret semi-annual specials. If you haven't been in a while, why not go back and visit this Gwinnett County staple?

Frickin' great place

i went here for the first time last week end with some of my friends to hang out and it was kinda great... there are a lot of fancy stores, and even though i couldn't find what i was looking for, i had a great time over there.

• Pros: Best place in town to hang out with friends
• Cons: Not enough shoes stores

Meh..

This mall is for people who wants to do some simple shopping. There's mostly teen/young adult type of stores. It's not the best mall out there. If you're looking for a classy, expensive mall, this isn't it. There are many ghett0 people at this mall and today another shopper warned me about how this girl was being chased to her car by some guys who jumped out of the bushes, so it's also not the safest mall out there. Macy's isn't that great compared to the other Macy's, it is just so so. The hair salon Toni & Guys is amazing though.

• Cons: Doesn't have too many good stores.. at all
