A low-key, friendly environment attracts plenty of families to this reliable chain. Kids in the big booths--often clutching free balloons and crayons--usually outnumber adults sitting at the bar. The menu offers filling American fare with no surprises, from mozzarella sticks and nachos to rollups and burgers. Entrees include steaks, fajitas and main dish salads. The calorie-conscious can select from a list of Weight Watchers-inspired dishes like mesquite chicken salad and grilled tilapia with mango salsa.

Great after work spot to hand out. We had a member of our job relocate to the west coast and we all meet here to have a drink. We were seated in a great area and the server took care of our needs without any need to wonder about where the server is all the time. We has Wonderful food and we will do it again.

very good ribs and meat. very short waiting time. good staff service. quality and variety is good. It is a very good place to eat.

WORST SERVICE EVER!. i went to applebee's on pleasant hill with a friend and our kids... we were seated after like 2 minutes... but we've been waiting for service forever... noone took our drink orders or anything... its been 10 minutes... not over exaggerating... and still noone... i had to go find someone at the bar and asked when we would get some service and she said she'll get them for us... after another 5 minutes we decided to get up and leave since noone wanted to serve us... i really think they need new management because that was the 2nd time... now if i wanna eat applebee's i have to go in snellville when i go visit my sister at her house there... much better service elsewhere than pleasant hill... hmph!!!!!!!!!!!1

Really bad service. My family and I recently visited the Applebee's near Gwinnett Place Mall and I was appalled at the service we received there. The waitress was not friendly, she took forever to come to our table to take our order, brought us the wrong drinks and then completely disappeared. Someone else brought us our meal after we inquired about it and refilled our drinks upon our request. I actually had to go hunt her down just to get the bill.
