Very poor customer experience

We purchased several items and the store offered to hold everything in their warehouse until all pieces had arrived, then we could pick everything up at once. A month later we received the call that everything was ready, we went to pick up the items and they were all MIA!!! Warehouse management said everything had been damaged and we'd have to place a reorder, which would take at least another month. Mangement's response was "Oh well." Now we're back at square one and almost out of time. Instead of making the experience of decorating a new nursery pleasurable, they've singlehandedly made it stressful and miserable. OBVIOUSLY they've lost a customer.

I am a first time mom to be. My husband and I went to GA Baby & Kids to find our new nursery furniture. After a few weeks I called to see when my furniture will be arriving. I was told that it was my "lucky" day. The furniture was just unloaded off of the shipment truck and that I could pick it up at any time. I immediately was stressed. I took a day off of work to prepare the nursery for the new furniture. My husband and I worked Friday and Saturday so we could pick the furniture up on Sunday. When we arrived at GA Baby we were told the sales rep made a mistake and only half of our purchase was in. Not that anyone bothered to call us back to let us know. I asked to speak with the manager Andy. I explained the situation that I would not have made the trip unless all the furniture was in---his response was he was sorry. Since it was his sales reps mistake I asked if he could deliver the remaining furniture at no charge----the answer was no. The manager Andy simply said it was there mistake but the remaining furniture would be in later and we could pick it up then. You would think that when you are spending thousands of dollars in one store the management would be more accommodating---especially when it was there mistake! As a mom to be my suggestion is to find a store that is friendly and helpful. Not one that forgets about you once the sales transaction is complete!

BEST BABY FURNITURE IN TOWN

WOW. From the moment you walk in you know you just want to buy something. Beautiful showroom and they had most things in stock. My husband and I had were expecting our first child and wanted the perfect Nursery. We had did our homework on furniture and knew we wanted quality that would last as our child grew up. We found it at Georgia Baby. Their selection, styles and quality were unbelieveable. We furnished our entire nursery, bedding and accessories for alot less than we were expecting to pay. We highly recommend them. Their staff was so friendly and helpful too.
