Terrible company. They'll kill you with kindness, but follow up on nothing and their facts aren't exactly correct. We were promised 50% savings on our power bill if we installed 2 new units...yeh, it's 10-20% max. Save yourself a lot of frustration and insults to your intelligence...go with another company.
HORRIBLE A/C SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – We requested service on our A/C in April 2011 through American Home Shield Home Warranty Service. They sent TQS out of Lilburn. It is now June 28th and our A/C is still not fixed. The temps in Atlanta have been in the upper 90's. There is no excuse. For me to go into details would absolutely make you sick. You do not want to be in our shoes. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE!!!!!
Total Quality Service?? I think NOT!! – Around Dec. 10, 2010 I called my home warranty company AHS (American Home Shield) with a need for my heating system to be fixed.
AHS contracted with Total Quality Services (TQS) to fix our heat. TQS gave us a service time window and showed up 3+ hours later after 10pm! Next day still no heat! Over the next 3 days- 4 days TQS came to our home 2 more times, gave excuses about why they had to put other service calls before us and still coming 3+ hours after the promised time and still we sat in a COLD house!!
Finally I had to call AHS and escalate the call and was allowed to find a different contractor to help us...
Today Dec. 19, 2010 "Veasey Total Completion" fixed the issue in 30 minutes and found mistakes that TQS made!
Excellent Company – This was one of several companies we called while price hunting and the experience was super from the start. The girls in the office were so friendly and helpful and they got us scheduled right away.
We had a technician by the name of Bruce come out to our house so we could get an estimate on a new system. He was very friendly and took the time to check all the equipment we had and gave us the best price yet! We are so excited to get our new system installed and will definitely take advantage of that great tax credit he told us about as well.
I highly recommend this company.
Ask for Lily or Penny. Those girls give customer service a new meaning!!
Customer Service Horrible – On June 21, I put in a service call with American Home Shield, home warranty company, because my AC quit. It was sent to Total Quality Services in Lilburn. I made contact with them on Tuesday at 10am to schedule an appt. The First available was the next day, Wednesday, between 12-6pm even though I had no AC and temp was over 90*. I waited for the appointment, was told it was my blower and it would have to be ordered. They did not know when it would be in. It arrived on Friday morning (day 5 w/o AC) however they were not able to fit us in on Friday or all weekend, but Monday because they were all booked up. Well college orientation was scheduled for Monday so Tuesday (day 8 w/o AC) between 8-2pm was scheduled. Total sent a "tech" out and he arrived at 4:30 pm (2.5 hours after their 6 hour window). He installed the motor but found other problems for which he was not qualified to diagnosis as he was on the phone with two other techs that helped to walk him through testing the system. He said it was the transformer and circuit board and that he would order them first thing in the morning since it was now after 7pm. He did not know when the parts would be in. On Wednesday I contacted Total and asked for an ETA of when my AC would be fixed. The very rude female who answers the phone and has no symphanty for you since she is sitting in a well air conditioned office area and working for her family tells me the "parts guy" is out and she will have him call me. Of course there is no return phone call. I call Total on Thursday (day 11 w/o AC) and speak with the rude female. This time she says it may be Friday or Tuesday and that I would receive a call to schedule an appt once the parts arrive. At this point I have no idea when my AC will be fixed or what the real status is. I attempted to talk with Lynda or Lloyd Brookshire, owners, but was told they are not in and she did not know when they would call me back. This is unacceptable customer service especially as hot as it is. I am unable to cook or wash clothes because the heat is unbearable. I know the parts for my AC unit have got to be in a local warehouse that can be picked up and put on the same day. As far as American Home Shield goes, they suck too. I have called their customer no-service number as well as the president’s office and have yet to get a phone call back. I wouldn’t either of these companies to my worst enemy.
Very pleased – Based on some reviews that we read regarding Total Quality we were a bit hesitant about using them...however...we found them to be very responsive, extremely knowledgable, polite and all-together very professional. I would use them again in the future and would certainly recommend them to friends.
Fabulous service – I've used this company for all of my A/C and heating needs for 11 years. When it came time to replace my 20-year-old unit last year they were the only ones I called because of their professionalism on prior service calls.
Highly Recommend!! – I feel as if I have been reading about another company entirely! Total Quality has serviced my HVAC for 5 years and I have nothing but positive things to say about their employees. The appointment window I am supplied is a 3-hour NOT 6-hour and they always give me a 30-minute call ahead. They wait for me if I get stuck in traffic and are always polite. Their customer service reps are happy, positive and helpful every time I call. I would definiately recommend this company for HVAC service!
a/c still not working. – 1 month and 3 trips to my house and still no air conditioning! Their A/C Techs don't seem to know what they are doing and there is no sense of urgency.
Road Rage – I don't know anything about the company's services, but if a road rage experience I had with one of their drivers today is any indication, they aren't exactly hiring professionals. I was nearly run off the highway by a guy in one of their vans because he thought I wasn't driving fast enough (I was going about 50mph because there was heavy traffic on 78). When we ended up at an intersection together, he started shouting and calling me a "damned bimbo." He was extremely angry and off his rocker. If this is the kind of person they hire, I can understand why there are so many terrible reviews here.
