Editorial Review. Offering flapjacks and ribs, this rustic restaurant gets points for its Southern-style breakfast and for its pit-cooked 'cue.

barely average BBQ. JR's Log House - just finished off their lunch takeout BBQ Pork sandwich with onion rings and b/w stew. Sandwich was very small with almost a minced pork texture and below average but had a nice smoked flavor to it. B/w stew was in a miniature cup and just so-so. You know you're in trouble when you only see one available sauce. I say avoid this place at all costs.....and Sonny's.

Southern Breakfast. Always dependable for a great and filling southern style breakfast. You'll be ready to chop some logs after eating here.

JR's is worth the 50 mile drive!. Even though we moved out of Gwinnett County years ago we kept the same dentist in North Fulton County. When we good for appointments we almost always stop at JR's Log House. They have

real lemonade, great sweet tea, and the best "home cooked" side dishes available. Of course, there is excellent BBQed pork, chicken, and beef. They also have fish and turkey. The restaurant features a private meeting room and get this, a drive-thru! Check them out its worth the drive.

The way BBQ is meant to be... WoW!! JR's quality food and log cabin atmosphere are what BBQ is all about. I devoured my baby back ribs, tasty BBQ sauce and plentiful side dishes. I chose black-eyed peas and sweet potatoe casserole. Unfortunately I did not have room for my favorite dessert blackberry cobbler. I'll be back!!
