What Our Expert Scouts Say

Best Indian lunch buffet in the metro; tons of options at a reasonable price. Go before 12:30 to avoid the crowds and the risk of them running out of a dish.

Palace was the first Indian restaurant I had ever dined at-over a decade later, they continue to serve consistently delicious dishes and a mean lunch buffet. Be sure to order their tandoori chicken and yummy fruit salad!

OK, can be better. I tried 2 Indian restaurants in the area, one is Palace and another is Haveli (Courtesy QuarterOFF. com, got $20 Gift certificate for $13.50). Haveli is little new and service is better. I liked the food I ordered from Haveli as well as Palace.

The Palace Indian Restaurant is a shame on India's name. I had an unfortunate opportunity to have an experience at The Palace Indian Restaurant. It was my son's first birthday and I had booked The Palace Indian restaurant two weeks in advance.I personally met the owner lady

of the restaurant and completed all the formalities from my side. She got my credit card info and confirmed everything.I was asked to just call two days in advance just to confirm the number of guests. As per the owner everything was confirmed.

I called the restaurant three days in advance and confirmed the number of guests who will be coming by talking with her son since she was out of town and her son again confirmed everything. On the day of party I

went there one hour early to do the decoration and to my surprise there was someone else also decorating the same hall which I had booked. When I told the gentle man that today is my party in this hall and he was equally shocked like me and said that he had aslo booked the same hall for his party. That gentleman started to yell(which is very obvious) when the owner lady came and told him that yours party is not here and sent him to a corner place.

Actually that hall is for one party only but that crooked lady tried to act smart and booked one hall for two parties for the same time. When everything got messed up then she came to me and started telling me your

party is not here, your booking was not confirmed.

I explained to her that I had been calling you since last three days and got confirmation from your son. When she called her son and asked him about my calls he refused attending any calls from my side.

How is it possible for any one to invite all your friends for a party without confirming the venue???????? These people are so unprofessional and that quarrelsome owner lady does not want to listen anyone.I think I was too nice or naive to give her my credit card details and confirm the whole thing verbally. But as a professional event organizer it was her duty to provide me with a confirmation email or letter.

My guests started to come between all this drama and I had no idea what to do at last moment.

This unprofessional and uneducated owner lady did not apologize once.I had to explain the whole chaos to my guests which was so embarassing.

Af ter this horrible incident I heard that The Palace Indian restaurant has been doing this for long time.Whenever they get booking for a big party they cancel the small party without informing. I had no option since my guests were there so I had to adjust in that corner which I was provided .........Even after spending money and preplanning the event i was getting that corner of the hall that was (1/4

of the hall used as extension) due to these people's messy, chaotic party organization. They made both their customers fool by booking same party hall twice which can accomodate only one party.

They completely spoiled our event and my motive of writing this review is to aware everybody that what kind of standard The Palace restaurant holds. You can read hundreds of stories about them on the internet from

several unhappy customers.

Anyone can imagine how important and exciting your child's first birthday could be and U would do every effort to make it a memorable experience for the rest of your life. The Palace owner made it a terrible, bitter

memory.

The Palace Indian restaurant is a shame on India's name.

Small servings of tasty Indian food. I live right next door to this place and it has, for a long time, been our "neighborhood" Indian restaurant. We usually order the Palace feast which is a tasty sampler appetizer with Pakora, Samosa, and Seekh Kebab. For an entree I usually order the Chicken Tikka Masala which I love.

The only negative thing I have to say, which is now forcing me to try to find another Indian restaurant in the area, is that the servings have become very small. I like to take home and have leftovers the next day but this is no longer possible ordering from here, even with ordering an appetizer. Paying over $30 for two entrees and an appetizer and still not have enough food for leftovers to me is not very good.

Worst place to go to!!!. I went to this place with my family, got insulted by the owner (the lady everybody must've heard about) and left sour and angry. The floor manager came up to us and apologized for his boss's behavior but I don't think any of us customers should patronize such a place where the owner has such an ego problem. I am too embarrassed even to mention my experience over here. Please stay away guys!!!

I also encourage anyone who has had a negative experience (and I'm sure there are too many) to please post your negative reviews too!!! This is my first time ever writing a review and this is how much I was affected by my visit to this place.

Good Indian food. The Palace is the best Indian restaurant I've been to. I've been to other Indian restaurants before and disliked the food but ever since I went to The Palace, I love Indian food!

yuckeee food and service. We went to a buffet party recently. We found bad stuff in the chat.

This is the second incident. Also they did not replaced the food in the buffet once they are finished.

The party room was booked exclusively for my friends party but he found out that it was also rented out to someone else too, on the day of the event. Beware of the lady who manages the parties. She is not only rude but lies on face. Make sure you have everything in writing

Yuckieeeeeeeeee. The poorest service i ever received. I ordered a "Rani Ki Thali" take-out. I reached The Palace, food was packed and ready to go, and it had already leaked. After a day, i call the restaurant and spoke with some woman who claimed to be the Manager and politely told her that the food should have been packed in a plastic container for take out, as all of the contents mixed with one another and she told me "that's how you are supposed to eat it" Unbelievable! And then she says "Rani ki Thali " is not for take out and should be eaten in the restaurant! How should I know, the staff should have told me that when i ordered it. Also, when i told her, that the food was all mixed while i was driving, she says "How do i know, if you were driving " . I guess she think people, who order take out sit outside her restaurant, in the parking lot and eat it in the car itself. Anyways, the food i ordered was horrible- Pakoras (fried fritters) were hard as rock, I also got KOFTA DUM ANARI- and they were just two huge boiled potatoes in gravy! The Manager was simply the rudest person. And that probably this was my First and Last Time eating there.
