It's back!!!!!! Play this course good cheap golf

Greens are great. I never thought this course would survive this economy; but it has. If you have not played here or have not seen the course lately do so it is good cheap golf.

Course looking GREAT!!!!

I second the motion. I stopped playing Southland a couple years ago due to the course deterioration, bad fairways, greens, service, etc. Around 5 weeks ago I came across a coupon to play there for $17.00. I was thinking it would just be a practice round for $17.00, BUT as you stated, to my surprise the greens were in immaculate shape and the fairways have improved as well. I've been going every weekend for the past 5 weeks, All they need to do now is tighten up a few tee boxes.

New Owner - New Greens

I was pleasantly surprised last month when I played Southland Golf Course. This is a course that had fallen into disrepair and poor management over the past few years. Well, new owners and new management are really turning this course around. EVERY green has been redone and they play fast and true. The course is a nice layout. I've played this course every weekend for the past month and will continue to do so. I heartily recommend that you give this course a try.

Not Friendly to Customers

The Southlands Golf and Country Club left my Bride and me without a place to have our wedding. This is after we put down a deposit of $750 over six months ago. B&J International, the owners of Southlands Golf and Country Club, phoned us and told us we could not use their facilities and to retrieve our deposit through Sidney Corum. B&J International further explained that Sidney Corum and B&J International no longer do business together. Wow, I wish I would have known that a months ago before B&J International and Sidney Corum took my money. Good Work Guys, I know you really care about people and their families. All the plans we have to cancel and the money we will lose. We will never forget this wedding gift from both Sidney Corum and The Southland. ***********************************

9-3-2008 My finance and I had an awesome wedding at the Retreat of Dunwoody (Villa Christina). Mr. Corum did return our money. Thank you Mr. Corum. I am so happy that my wife did not have her wedding day spoiled.

• Cons: Lack of notice and additional hassles to retrieve refund.

Not the best greens but great course

I grew up in this neighborhood. I no longer live there but still go back to play...They have an excellent staff and are very inexpensive on rounds. The course is usually only busy on Fridays and Saturdays. If you work in the Atlanta area and get off of work early. Then it is an excellent place to scoot away to and play a quick round.
