All aboard for multiple arts training with a major stop in theater production..
Art Depot
The old trolley station in the heart of historic Stone Mountain Village beats to a different clangor these days. Now it's a contemporary arts center with classrooms, a dance studio, two private music rehearsal rooms and a pottery studio. There are five galleries and a crafts showcase where established artists and artists-in-progress exhibit and sell their work. And there are stages for theatrical and musical performances by students and professionals.
Theater in the Spotlight
In addition to teaching drama and theater arts, ART Station is a theatrical production in its own right. It stages the tried and true as well as new plays by Southern playwrights.
Who Goes?
Most classes run five to eight weeks and are scheduled in the evenings and on weekends to accommodate working folks and school children.
