I am always impressed by the service that I get here. It reminds me of a small town mechanic that you use forever and can trust. Recently, I went in because I told them my brakes needed to be replaced. They looked at my car, told me I didn't need new brakes, didn't charge me for the assessment, and told me to go to my tire people (not them) to get 2 new tires. I have been using Cooper Lake Chevron for about 8 years and every time I have recieved honest information and have never been made to pay for diagnostic service.

Good if you have the time. The good: they are honest. You never feel you are getting scammed or that the needed repairs are being exaggerated. As a person who knows next to nothing about cars, this is very appreciated.

The bad: a couple of the guys there will require all of your patience to deal with. They aren't very "with it" seeming nor customer service oriented.

They are also VERY slow. My one day repair took almost one week.

If honesty is the most important thing, go here. But be prepared to micromanage.
