DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH!!!. After getting a spa pedicure at City Nails and Tan, I came home which much more than painted toe nails. I came home with Mycobacterium fortuitum, a bacterial infection on m lower legs. My dermatologist said that the infection was caused by unclean tools/tub during the pedicure. I have been put on an antibiotic regime that will last two-four months and cost me over a hundred dollars! Not only that, but I will have 8 dark scars about the size of pencil erasers that will take years to fade without laser treatment.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!! After researching the topic, proper cleaning of a pedicure tub should take about 10 minutes. A disinfectant should be applied and SCRUBBED around the tub, especially around the drain and other hard to reach areas. These tubs are breeding grounds for dangerous bacteria, and can be hazardous to your health if they aren't properly cleaned. Don't let your legs end up looking like mine! MAKE SURE YOUR NAIL SALON IS CLEAN!! Do yourself a favor and do a little research online for what to look for when you go in a nail salon.
