From pecan waffles to legendary hash browns, breakfast fare rules at this homey 24-hour chain restaurant--but don't miss the chili..
In Short
Since 1955, this Atlanta-based chain has welcomed an all-hours crowd of shift workers, suits, regulars and late-night partiers with comfy booths and an extensive menu of Southern-accented home-style grub. Waffles (pecan or regular) are the restaurant's most popular dish. Other breakfast favorites include porterhouse T-bone steak and eggs, country ham, and signature hash browns cooked seven ways, from smothered with onions to topped with chili or cheese. Another bargain is the bowl of chili, which comes topped with onions, ham and cheese.

Come for the food and stay for the friends.
We really enjoy Sunday morning at this location of Waffle House, Each week my husband and I visit before going to church to watch the people and order our favorite meals. The bacon is country fried and always crispy. The waffle is large and we have to share one because we can never finish all the food. Its interesting to watch the different type of people that arrive each morning and sit in our regular seat near the window. I guess as you get older you look forward to people knowing you when you walk through the door and giving you the home feeling. This is a great location to get good food and make new friends.
