Roswell >Salon 1580
LOVE this salon, and love Pat! She has been doing my hair for almost two years -- multi-dimensional color, Keratin treatments, stylish cuts ... and very affordable. Love their new location ... it's so spacious and chic (they are at 11230 Alpharetta Hwy. Suite 115, Roswell, GA now). Pat really cares about all her customers. Give them a try.
This is a HORRIBLE salon. The owner Pat is an extremely rude lady. I bought my coupon cause it was a good deal not knowing when I get there she is going to try to up-sale me like crazy and gets mad when I don't want any of it, and then tell my stylist ( who has been doing hair for 20+ years so I'm pretty sure she knows what partial highlight would be) that a partial is TOPS 10 small highlights... ummm and in what salon world is that considered that???? then after washing my hair out Pat decides she wants to charge me $10 for the small amount of toner the stylist used. TONERS COMES WITH HIGHLIGHTS SO THEY DON'T LOOK BRASSY AND YELLOW. Also, my daughter also went there with the same coupon, they changed and extra $40 for her "length", then they used horrible hair color so her hair faded after 3 washes to this ugly brassy orange/red color. Not to mention the hack job on her hair, they were also trying to make her cut her hair from the middle of her back into a bob so they wouldn't have to use as much hair color... what kind of salon is this? Then Pat has the nerve to ask us(both on separate occasions) if we will give good feedback, and "promote" the salon, I should of told her no I'm never coming back?! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with my keratin treatment as well! Pat is friendly, however she is way too busy and overbooked and scattered. I get the impression she is just trying to bring in warm bodies and is squeezing in appointments to the tune of complete disorganization and poor service. That may not be the case - but it sure does seem that way. My first treatment was awesome. Hair was perfectly straight, drying time minimized to just a few minutes, and she wore a mask. Second treatment was worthless... didn't take at all. (she didn't wear a mask). I went back to have it redone, and it did not work this time either. (again, she didn't wear a mask). I received the "bad batch" explanation as well. I also had to pay more for more product used... hmm, based on other comments I'm seeing a trend here. I mention the mask because I directly relate the mask with the strength of the product being used. I could be wrong, but I only have the first (good) treatment to compare it to. I didn't even bother calling Pat to complain this again... My tip for Pat - slow down... and focus on good customer service and good hair service and then you'll get the repeat customers... and won't need to keep doing Groupons to bring in new clients.
I went to Pat and her assistants for about a year. Not happy. I kept trying to give her more chances but my Keratin never was the same after my initial time with her. She was always way overbooked. I'm not sure if she is diluting the Keratin but as soon as I washed my hair I could tell it had little to no change on my hair. Usually when I get a Keratin my drying time is cut in 1/2 at the very least and the straightening is a lot easier. My first visit with her was like this and she wore a mask because the chemicals were so strong. The next time I went her assistant didn't wear one and I had no results, my hair felt fried. I called and let her know and she told me to come back in. Here assistant told me a couple people had come back in and they must have had a bad batch. The 2nd time they were wearing a mask, and there was a new scent and the results were a little better but my hair felt more fried. I even tipped her AGAIN to be nice. 2-3 months later went back for my next treatment, Pat didn't even recognize me as a client and even asked what I was there for. I let them know mine did not work well the time before just as a warning. She also used an oz more than she has every other time, 2oz normally now 3. I went home and I could already tell it was not good. But I waited the 3 days and then washed it with her shampoo and conditioner. Hair was frizzy, fried, and took just as long if not longer to dry. I reached out to Pat again this time saying I wanted a refund because I did not have the time and did not want to come in again for more chemicals to be put on my head. I heard nothing...I have still heard nothing...2 months have gone by. I will not be back
Worst Hair Experience. My daughter and I both had our hair done by Pat and her assistant Missy. What a joke, combs dropped on the floor and reused, hair brushes exchanged amongst stylists without being cleaned, color left on my daughters hair for over an hour because they were busy trying to take care of 6 customers at the same time. She asked to lighten her blonde haircolor and it is now orange as a result of being left on to long. Went to another shop to correct the mess. Pat was a nice lady but was well overbooked and as a result a very poor job on both of our heads. Will not return or recommend to anyone!!
Very Disappointed. My experience with Salon 1850 was, unfortunately not as pleasant as some others. Although the coupon stated that I would have services performed by Pat that was not the case. I had the designated highlights, "trim" and blow-dry. I also requested eyebrow tint and wax. To sum up my experience, it will be necessary for me to see my regular stylist to obtain satisfactory results for all services. I realize I had a coupon, but did expect to at least receive satisfactory service. I will not return to this salon.
Pat Alessi has been cutting and maintaining my hair for over ten years. I am pleased to say that Pat is an excellent and knowledgeable hair stylist.
Pat has always been the consummate professional not only with me but also with the many clients I’ve seen her work with over the years. She is very conscientious regarding all aspects of her work – from the cleanliness of her work environment and the comfort of her clients to the quality of the products she uses and recommends. I’ve been coming to Pat monthly for ten years so I can honestly say that I am very happy with her work. Since I’ve seen many of the same people here for years, I must not be the only one that feels this way.
I highly recommend Pat to any male or female who wants their hair to look as great and natural today as it did 1, 10, 20, or 30 years ago.
Pat has been doing my hair for over ten years. I have followed her wherever she was and would not go to anyone else.
She is a dear friend to me and "knows her business"....as in her profession. She takes a very personal interest in her clients and we all appreciate that.
Kudos to Pat. I love you. Patsy Smith
Pat Alessi provided the best foil and cut I ever received!. Moving across country 5 times in 19 years I know how difficult it is to find a good hairstylist, one you want to come back to again and again, at an affordable price in a new area. When I lived in Georgia I found the best hairstylist I have ever had in my life! Pat Alessi from Salon 1580 did such a fantastic job, my hair had not looked this good in years! I got so many compliments and loved looking at it myself! - It will be very hard finding someone of her caliber at my new location. But if I ever get back to visit Georgia (which I hope I will) I will make it a point to make an appointment with Pat Alessi at Salon 1580!
Kudos for Pat Alessi!. We all want a great cut every time we sit down in a stylist's chair and I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed with any cut that I've received from PAT ALESSI. They have ALL turned out GREAT! I've lived in Alpharetta for 11+ years and have tried many stylists my surrounding area. After my first visit with Pat it was easy to see that she was a professional hairstylist. Not only did I feel like my hair looked great, but my friends were giving me sincere compliments as well. With consistent results on following visits, Pat quickly became the sole stylist that I entrust with my hair.
