“Its nice to go to a restuarant with such a relaxed atmosphere, so much so that a couple of gals like ourselves weren't uncomfortable with showing a little loving anniversary affection in public.”
“We did have a nice bottle of wine (they do have a good selection) which at $50 for this particular varietal and brand wasn't a terrible buy, but the bill came to $179 including tip.”
“This is way too much for the mediocre food and poor service.”

It's hip to dip at this cozy fondue-lover's paradise..
In Short
Booths equipped with tabletop fondue pots are clustered together inside the intimate dining room. Start with a cheese fondue, including an assortment of breads, veggies and fruits for dipping. Entrees include lobster, center-cut filet, fish, chicken and vegetarian selections served with a variety of dipping sauces. For dessert, try the flaming turtle, a mix of chocolate and caramel flambéed tableside, served with nut-covered marshmallows, fresh fruit, pound cake, brownies and cheesecake.
Terrible experience and way too expensive. Went to dinner last night. While waiting to meet my wife I thought I would have a glass of wine. Waited in the bar for 15 minutes - NO BARTENDER (Apparently the manager doubles as the bartender and he was in the back fixing a computer). Wife arrived - seated promptly at our reservation time (no surprise since we were seated at one of the two tables in the place that were occupied). Waited and waited for our server to show up - 15 minutes later I went back to the hostess to inquire "what was our waiter's name again, and have you seen him?" She went back in the kitchen to search and a few minutes later out walked a young man. "Hello, I'm _________, I am not your waiter, but can I answer any questions or get you something to drink? It was nice to see someone take responsibility - the only bright spot. Finally, our waiter showed up (about 20 minutes into the night) - he was nice enough but no apology whatsoever (what is it with this generation? - they have no concept of manners). Serviced improved slightly from there, but then we had a chance to experience the food. It was, at best, marginal. We did have a nice bottle of wine (they do have a good selection) which at $50 for this particular varietal and brand wasn't a terrible buy, but the bill came to $179 including tip. This is way too much for the mediocre food and poor service. frankly, if you want good fondue go to Dante's in Buckhead - there you will get great jazz to accompany a better service and food experience.
Romantic?....maybe if you're 15. This is possibly the least romantic place I've ever been. It sounds like a fun and interesting concept but it's a huge disappointment. The wait time is way too long. The teenage wait staff and host were loud, rude and obnoxious to say the least. The food was way overpriced and really not that good. Don't wear anything that needs to be dry cleaned because your clothes are going to seriously smell of the cooking oil when you leave.
Not worth the $$$. First of all there really is no point in having reservations. We sat down to eat 1.5 hrs. after our reservation time. The teenage host was rude and more interested in chatting and flirting than working. We felt rushed by our waiter to hurry up through dinner and leave ASAP. The food was so-so and certainly not worth the price (over $100 for 2 people). I left feeling annoyed and not at all satisfied. Overall the service was horrible and it was an all around bad experience.
VALENTINE'S DAY MASSACRE!!!. Valentine's Day 2004 here was a NIGHTMARE!!! An absolute waste of money, time and, quite possibly, the LEAST ROMANTIC experiences of my life. Why? (1) 10:30pm reservations turned into an 11:45pm seating. No one cared. (2) The hostess here was nothing but rude...loudly saying, "oh well, it's closing time" well before 8+ couples (all with busted reservations) were even seated. Ordering patrons out of her way is another forte of hers. No "please" or "thank you" here. (3) High School wait staff who boasted of tips in front of our table AND sang "I'm a Loser" by Beck at the top of their lungs in the kitchen. How romantic! they were doing everything to get us done and out ASAP, all b/c they messed up our reservations. All of this and more, yours for $120+ plus tax and gratuity. THANKS MELTING POT ROSWELL!!!
POT OF JOY. Went there tonight for the first time and had an awesome experience. The food was great, the service excellent, and yes the prices are steep...but dont you get tired of burgers and fries. It's a nice place for a long romantic dinner...If you go, ask for Kristina(great server). Its nice to go to a restuarant with such a relaxed atmosphere, so much so that a couple of gals like ourselves weren't uncomfortable with showing a little loving anniversary affection in public. Definitely a must stop spot!
