Don't bother with this place.... Throughout the planning process I was impressed with the level of professionalism displayed by everyone we encountered. Unfortunately, they fell short when it mattered. The decor and food were executed very well and the facility staff were great. The lighting requests that were made months in advance were not implemented as agreed, which was disappointing.

We encountered some significant problems on our wedding day. We were supposed to have access to the facility and grounds from 5:30 PM to get ready and take pictures. It was important for us to take as many pictures before the ceremony, so we could have more time to spend with our guests. The ceremony was set for 7:30 PM with guest arrival beginning at 7:00 PM. Unfortunately for us, there were two back to back rehearsals taking place, with the last one ending at 6:30 PM. This prevented us from being able to take pictures outside until 6:30 PM. Also, the people attending the rehearsals took up most of the parking at the venue, leaving our party and family members having to find alternative parking across the street.

Due to the late start with pictures outside (the ceremony was in the garden/courtyard), not only was the session rushed, but I (the bride) and bridesmaids discovered to our disbelief that our guests who had started arriving, were watching the picture taking session while they were waiting to be seated. I felt totally exposed and robbed of the appropriate entrance, and the wedding director appointed by the Atrium (who we paid extra for), did nothing to avert this situation.

When these and other issues were brought to the attention of our wedding coordinator, Hillary, she had an indifferent attitude, and did not apologize, but just stated "I'm sorry you feel that way." The perky outstanding service had completely evaporated after they received our money. For what we paid, we deserved a lot more respect than what were shown. If you want privacy on your special day, please go elsewhere.
