The Deal
Men all over Atlanta (state politicians to construction workers) are walking around in a pair of shoes from Bennie's. Not a shocker considering this three-store chain is known for its exceptional customer service and sells top brands for discounted prices.

Bennie's kicks boot-y with its variety of styles and popular brands (Rockport, Allen-Edmonds, Sebago, Bostonian, Hush Puppies, Magnanni, Timberland, Foot-Joy, New Balance, Bass). You'll also find leather belts and foot accessories like dress and sport socks, shoe shining cream, laces and gel insoles.

I have been shopping with Bennie's Shoes since I first moved to Atlanta in 1988. The service is with out question the best (the dept. stores could learn from Bennie's). I saw one of the reviews mention that Bennie's has last years styles. This is not true. All Bennie's shoes carries is up to date styles. I was in Bennie's of Norcross last week and saw all the new styles they received from Allen Edmond (2008) and Cole Haan(2008). I have never written a review before, but since the people at Bennie's have been so nice to me and my father (who is 87 years old and is treated like a king when he comes into Bennie's) I thought I should set the record straight that they carry nothing but current styles not last years close-outs. Even if Neil Boortz talks about how much he loves Bennie's shoes, I will still go in there.
Pros: current and new styles
Cons: they close to early (6:00pm)

As a kid growing up in Atlanta, my parents would take me to the old Broadview Plaza Shopping Center on Piedmont, to Bennie's for school shoes. It was always a pair of Bass Weejun's. When I grew up, I would occasionaly stop in, and pick up a couple of pairs. And yes the service is very good. And the prices are also. But as I became more sophisticated, the styles seemed rather dated. And they are. Most of the inventory is last years styles, at good prices. There is certainly nothing wrong with that.
Pros: Decent Prices On Men's Shoes!
Cons: Mostly Last Year's Styles!
