“hope my wife does not discover what a great place Bennie's is to shop.”
“think everyone in Atlanta shops at Bennie's and because of the great customer service I can see why!”
“Most of the inventory is last years styles, at good prices.”
The best place in town to purchase
shoes like Allen Edmonds, Cole Haan, J&M and Ecco.
They discount every pair of shoes, also everything is new and current styles and 1st quality.
See Rob if you want great service, he will make sure you great fit every time. I can see why Bennie's shoe is a Atlanta institution. Also, Bennie's has the best shoe repair in town.
Offensively rude staff. I will never go back. Salesperson got hostile when I asked to try on a different size and chased me out to my car screaming. Besides, I got a similar pair at Jos A. Bank for less.
WOW! A GREAT SHOE STORE.
PROS:
1. A GREAT SELECTION
2. WONDERFUL AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE
3. I HAVE A VERY LONG FOOT A NICE SELECTION OF SIZE 14 AND 15.
4. THE ONLY PLACE IN TOWN THAT STILL KNOWS HOW TO REPAIR MEN'S OR LADIES SHOES.
5. JUST A FUN PLACE TO VISIT
6. GREAT PRICES ON NEW STYLES. YOU DO NOT PAY RETAIL WHEN YOU ENTER BENNIE'S, ALL SHOES ARE NEW AND FIRST QUALITY.
CONS.
1. THEY DON'T SELL LADIES SHOES (MY WIFE LOVE SHOES) BUT THEY DO REPAIR WOMEN SHOES.
2. NO VALET PARKING
3. THEY CLOSE AT 6:00PM
I CAN SEE WHY BENNIES HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS SINCE 1909. ALSO IT IS FUN TO SEE THE PHOTO OF ALL THE CELBS THAT GO INTO BENNIE'S SHOES.
I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF BENNIE'S FOR OVER 30+ YEARS.
THANKS BENNIE'S

The Best at shoe repairs. Although everyone that works here is kinda cranky and old and pretty much rude, they have saved some very expensive shoes for me. Don't lose your payment reciept or they will charge you again.
At Bennie’s Shoes, it’s a numbers game. Consumers often talk about how phenomenal customer service was back in the day. At Bennie’s Shoes, they resent that. As you open the door, the aroma of shoe polish greets you like a firm handshake. Located in Buckhead Crossings, Bennie’s has been around for over 100 years, fixing men and women’s shoes the “right” way. The cobblers, dressed like sartorial samurais, all have over 40 years of experience – each. Most, the sons and nephews of retired cobblers, speak about their craft with passion and enthusiasm. The workstation is comprised with machines older than the men who operate them. A pleasant greeting is a minor aspect of good customer service. A quality job, honesty assessments, and strenuous solutions instead of quick fixes summarize the service you’ll receive at this Georgia gem. If you care about your shoes, you’ll take them to Bennie’s.
THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT SERVICE.
I took my father last week into Bennies Shoes. He is a WWII vet and a real hero in my eyes. He has trouble walking, so his knees are just about done. God bless this 91 year old man.
I brought my father into Bennies to find a nice pair of dress shoes he can wear to Church on Sundays. The saleman (Matt) suggested a nice pair of Florsheim dress shoes with a velcro strap. Matt also got on his hands and knees and help my father get his old shoes off and new ones on. He did this about a dozen times until he found a pair of shoes that felt great. Thank You Matt for treating my father with respect.
I also found for myself a new pair of Cole Haan with the Nike Air inside on sale. Gotta love that Nike Air Cole Haans.
I can see why Bennie's Shoes has been in Atlanta since 1909.
WORST, RUDEST SERVICE EVER!. The absolute worst, rudest, and most angry service I have experienced in years! I went into the store last week looking for a pair of AE Peyton's that were advertised. They did not have any in stock, but the salesman made a big pitch to bring in one of my older pair of AE's and give their re-crafting service a try for $90, which he said was way better than AE's. I went in this afternoon with a pair of old AE's wingtips for re-crafting. I encountered a man with a moustache who took my shoes, looked the over and just sneered at them. At first, he said that there was no way that they could be AE's. Another associate looked at them and confirmed that they were, in fact, AE's; which, of course, was obvious. He then said that they had been so poorly repaired that it would cost $100 or more to re-craft them. I said fine, but stated that I was quoted a price of $90. I paid him $100 and asked him their work was guaranteed. The guy just flipped. He stated that if I was unhappy with their work, too bad, that I would never get my money back. He then literally leaned over the counter and stated quite aggressively that no one in the store would have ever quoted a price of $90 to me (implying that I was a liar) and he literally grabbed one of the shoes out of my hand turned it over and started jabbing it in my facing pointing to the apparently poor prior repair work. I responded that I did not think that being yelled at or being abusive was a particularly effective customer service strategy and requested an immediate refund. He gave me my money back and then, I kid you not, he again grabbed one of the shoes out of my hand. At this point I had had enough and I told him in clear terms to let go of my shoes and then I departed. If the store manger or the owner of the store reads this, I ask him or her to contact me via YELP. An apology is expected.
Best place in Southeast to buy shoes. The guys at Bennie's are great. They actually told me I was wearing the wrong size shoe, then proved it to me. My feet feel so much better now tha i am wearing the correct size. Louie spent so much time with me. I got 3 pairs. They repair shoes there too. I overheard thgeir customers talking about how good their repairs were too! When I complained about the traffic, they told me I could order them from the web as well, that they had a website. I won't go anywhere else now that I've found Bennie's Shoes. Their prices were very good too!
Shoes, Shoes and more Shoes with service!. I have shopped at Bennie's for over 20 years. The staff is prompt, knowledgeable, friendly and the selections, service and down home feel are the best in the city. 90+% of the shoes I own have come from Bennie's. If I could change one thing it would be longer evening hours.
Great shoes at very low prices..all first quality.
Money has been getting tight lately so I have quit shopping at those overprice Malls and started to bargin hunt. Bennie's Shoes is a great place to find 1st quality shoes at great discount prices. Let me say this, most of what Bennie's Shoes carries is all current styles. Very few close-outs. I visited Bennie's this past Saturday and boy were they busy. I guess in this crazy market, the discount stores really look good.
I found a pair of men's Clark casual shoes for $39.95 ($129.95 retail). I also found a pair of dress Rockports for $79.95 ($110.00 retail). I just love the fact that I am saving money on name brands than spending money for some off brand I never heard of. My brother did buy a pair of Sebago shoes for only $49.95 (it was on a special mark-down table).
I will be back this weekend to pick up a pair of Cole Haans they had on sale for $99.95 ($145.00 retail).
In these most difficult times, we all must learn to become a smarter shopper.
