Best florist in the Atlanta area!. Carithers Flowers has the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. Their staff is wonderful, both very professional and highly talented. I have been using this florist for years and have never been dissapointed. Amazing selection of fresh flowers, plants and fantastic gourmet baskets. They cater to every budget and have a great delivery department. If you are looking for the best florist in the Atlanta area...look no further!

Valentine's Day Service. My father ordered two dozen roses from Carithers this Valentine's Day--one red and one pink arrangement for my mother and me. My mother's arrangement arrived promptly, but the flowers seemed a bit wilted. The original pink arrangement was delivered about thirty minutes late, but in wonderful condition. Fast forward to late that afternoon, when a frazzled-looking woman in a van delivered yet ANOTHER pink arrangement (she'd thought the other hadn't arrived). The arrangement was entirely wilted, and there was NO water in the vase. At least the woman cared enough to deliver another dozen roses at no charge. The flowers, however, were sub-par and died within three days of delivery.

Gypped. We hired Carithers for our wedding and paid up front for a package that ended up costing less. They admitted the package that was delivered was cheaper than the one we actually paid for. They agreed to refund the difference, but still haven't. Instead of refunding our overpayment, we have received the "check is in the mail" treatment for TWO MONTHS now. Good luck to you if you decide to use these jokers for your event!

Carithers is a large retail shop with a separate and focused wedding staff. Most of the designers have 20-plus years experience arranging flowers for large-scale events. High volume equals less individual attention than offered at small boutiques, but brides appreciate Carithers' reputation for being punctual, detail-conscious and dependable.

The Goods
Carithers is known for its European garden style: full flowers, limited greenery and mixed bouquets. The store avoids the traditional carnations and mums and experiments with modern flowers and fresh fruits and berries. Carithers also plays with colors that are atypical for weddings; expect to see striking assemblages of purples, browns and champagnes.
