Blacks Be Aware

The Place will never get my business again. I advise all blacks to stay out of there. There was an issue with a black guy and security asked the guy to leave. He got up to leave and was walking towards the door and the security guard started shoveling him. I thought that was just one incident; however, the security guard later came over and informed me and my two girlfriends that there were a two drink minimum. I had purchased more than 2 drinks and one of my girlfriends had purchased 2. They felt it was their cue to leave, so they left. I had just purchased a drink so I stayed. I got up to dance to one song, and once I got back to my seat, my drink was gone. I asked the bartender about it, and she ask me did I want another one. She was going to charge me for it, and I told her I didn't want one. I asked to close my tab, and I did not leave her a tip because of the drink incident. The next thing I knew security came over, and he informed me that the bartender said I had to leave. I never heard of such. I had been there several times, and I always left a good tip. I will take my business back to Johnnie's Hideway where Shaun and Nancy can vouch for that.

Hot Chicks, Crappy Experience.

I have to agree with the guy who shredded this place for their DJ. Although I must say that his taste buds must be off.

Pros:Convenient parking,Hot bartneders

Cons:

1.) Drink Prices. Holy CRAP are they high! $3.50 for a domestic? Almost 7 dollars for a well mixed? The place is a dive with a good wrapping.

2.) Music. Go elsewhere unless you want to hear the same music every weekend. Also the audio system sucks badly. Either that or the DJ is as deaf as he is talentless (which is pretty much)

3.) Food. Mediocre for the price charged, but when you care more about the money than the quality, it shows.

4.) Waitstaff. Pretty but brainless.

5.) Decor. Looks like you put mahogany over your clubhouse walls. WHo are you kidding?

6.) Dance Floor. Tiny Tiny Tiny. BUT they have over 10 speakers cranked to the max so you get lulled into the sense that it's bigger?

In summary: Bad. Expensive. Hot Bartenders.

Awsome for singles

I love this place! The women are great, mature and friendly.

Great place, if not the only place for us single locals. Staff is nice and everything is quite reasonably priced.

I have run into quite a few swingers here for those who like the lifestyle. Just remember guys and gals, if you come to The Place...you can always count on meeting someone and going home with someone. That's a promise!!

Love it!

Keep an eye on the bartenders

I strongly suggest you don't run a tab and do keep an eye on what passes for bartenders. Ordered two beers and ran a tab, but when I closed out, two additional beers magically appeared on the tab. I left a 3/4 full beer on the bar in front of my chair that I had been sitting in all night (and placed a napkin on the top which any decent bartender knows is a sign that the drinker is coming back). When I returned from one dance, my beer had been tossed. Asked the clueless brunette where my beer went. She just shrugged and walked away. I don't know what game they have going, nor will I return to find out.

Watch OUT!

My daughter has Multiple Sclerosis. Unfortunately, she has trouble walking, sight, and her speech is slurred due to the MS. She had an altercation with someone in the bar, reported it to security, and was immediately treated as if she was drunk even though she tried to explain her disorder to the ignorant manager. Let this be a lesson to anyone of you who happens to have a loved one who has a disease or handicap. Stay away from this place. No compassion or understanding goes with this place. BEWARE!

• Cons: If HAVE A HANDICAP OR ILLNESS, BEWARE!!!!
