I spoke with Sean three times about a problem I was having with an HDMI port on my plasma TV. After removing the set from its mount and bringing it in, [an hour drive], he did not have blueray or HDMI signal to test the unit. He tested it with the coax and RCA ports and told me I probably did not want to spend to fix it if it was the main board. What a waste of time. I provided model & serial number and a description of the problem. If he did not have the equipment to test the unit and without testing told me to replace it, he was not very helpful. Great place if you have a TV from the '80s like most of the others lying around his shop.

Honesty. One thing I have learned in the 28 years that I have spent in the military is honesty and integrity and Glen and his little business has it covered. My wife and I have used him many times. The last repair I had done there was a minimal expense and they were very helpful and honest, Thanks guys!!! Keep up the Good Work... MSG Queen

Great Service. I have a Samsung 46" TV that is a little over 1 year out of warranty. After the power went out, about half of the functions stopped working (e.g. it would turn off, but not on; it would not cycle through the inputs, etc.). I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Samsung and they best they would offer to do is send out a repair guy for $80 just to diagnose the problem.

Being told by Samsung that it was probably a problem with the IR receiver or the main board, I started looking online for a local repair shop. I found some great reviews for these guys and made the drive up 75.

When I got to the store and plugged in the TV, everything was working perfectly. Glen and his wife told me that the problem was probably a power surge, which would fix itself after the TV had been unplugged for 20 minutes. Nothing needed to be fixed. If I had called first, they would have been happy to tell me that this was probably the problem; however, it was worth the drive because I got to meet some great people.

When I offered to pay them for the diagnoses, they said that a dollar seemed like a fair price. I couldn't believe it. Most other places I had looked up charged between $50 or $60 just to look at the TV. When I pulled out my wallet and all I had was a $2 bill, they laughed and told me not to worry about it. I almost hope my TV does break because I would love to give them some business.

So happy I found this place!!!. I came across this place purely by coincidence (online). I was a little apprehensive at first since I had never been to this shop and was afraid of getting ripped off. The owner Glen and his wife were very friendly and knowledgeable. They took their time to listen to the problem I was having with my TV and gave me the right diagnosis for it. I brought my bad lamp and Glen replaced with it a new one. It worked like a charm! He even asked me to call back and let them know how everything went once I installed the new lamp. I appreciate the help and it was truly refreshing to find people who actually care about their customers!! I will definitely go back to Atlanta TV & Video Repair and also recommend all my friends/family to them.

doing the right thing. Although we did not have success fixing my tv, I do appreciate the efforts that the staff made. They seemed to make an honest effort to fix the tv, and although there were some miscommunications along the way, I feel they made an effort to do the right thing, and I appreciate that.

Awesome Customer Service. We have a 52 inch, 2003 Sony Color Rear Video Projector TV. When we came back from vacation, the TV only showed snow, but the game system worked fine on it. We were dreading taking this to a repair company because it is HUGE and HEAVY!

At the recommendation of a friend, I called Atlanta TV & Video Repair. I spoke with Glen, who asked detailed questions, then gave us specific information on what to try to see if we could get a picture again. We did exactly what he told us to do, and IT WORKED! He is a GENIUS!!!

Glen was very professional, courteous and KNOWLEDGEABLE! We definitely will bring him any TV that stops working in the future. My friend has had very positive experiences with them in the past, which is why she recommended them to us. I'm passing that recommendation on! You will not be disappointed.

Awesome. I called about a TV repair and was told up front there would be a non refundable $50.00 diagnostic fee which sounded reasonable. I was also told this would be applied to my bill if repairs were made. I had researched the issue with my TV online and the price quoted for repair was at the low end of range quoted on the blog. I took my TV to Glen and he plugged it in and it began working again. Of course there was no charge but be also told me if it stopped working again I should call before I bring it in and he would try to trouble shoot the problem over the phone and try to save me a trip to the store. What awesome customer service!

Above Expectations. From the moment I spoke with "the lady of the house" until I left with my new lamp installed in my old casing, I was treated much better than anyone I've come in contact with both on the phone and in person in a long, long time. Not only was the quality of the lamp top notch the quality of the knowledge shared with me on reinstallation cautions and concerns was superb.

I will return in the future and will recommend them to my friends.

Sometimes you have to take a chance. When trying to find someone to repair our TV, I read the reviews. The review that said the service was over priced almost kept me from visiting this business. However, I decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did. The owners gave great customer service and repaired our TV. I don't write many reviews but I wanted to write this review to keep anyone from making the mistake that I almost did - passing this business up. Go visit them for your repair needs.
