GREAT Fresh Food at a good price!. I can't believe I've lived in Marietta for 10 years and haven't been to this restaurant. If you live in Marietta, you know how hard it is to find DECENT food that's not from some chain... Well you're in luck! The food here is fresh and fabulous. There were four of us that each ordered something different and shared. Everything was really great and I brought home the leftovers and ate every bit of them. I'd much rather have Thai than Chinese, and this place blows Chin Chin out of the water. Much more reasonably priced as well.

The only complaint that I have is that the day we went in there (Friday evening around 6:30) it was pretty hot in the restaurant and could have been at least 10 degrees cooler for comfort. When it's 95 outside it's nice to come into a cool place for dinner! It felt like it was about 83. Maybe the air wasn't working....

Best Thai food around. I've been eating here for several years and have never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh and delicious. The portions are very generous and the service is quick and friendly. I've had Thai food all over Atlanta, N.Y., Chicago, L.A. and this is by far my favorite place. Spicy basil beef or chicken is wonderful.

A sneaky and surprisingly good Thai spot in the ‘burbs.. In Short
Tucked away in a moderately run-down shopping center off Roswell Road, Lemon Grass Thai kitchen is a gem. Like most delicious, under-appreciated ethnic restaurants, the interior is not much to look when it comes to opulence or finery, though the rich red carpet and dark wooden tables are certainly a step forward. The coconut curry soup is an amazing mixture of not-too-sweet coconut with a wallop of spice that hits you just at the right time. Nam sod is an outstanding spice-free rendition of Thai pork with lime and peanuts though the fried crab lacks flavor and arrives with its inner shell cooked on. The curries, especially the panang curry and yellow curry with tofu are highlights of the massive menu. Bring the youngin’s and eat family style on the (relatively) cheap.

Atlanta's Best. Have been going here for 14 years. Live in Atlanta and make the drive to Marietta to eat here. Have tried thai restaurants all over Atlanta, including the expensive ones, and Lemon Grass to me beats them all. Even when we travel we still cannot find thai food as good as the Lemon Grass. Simply love it.

The standard for Thai food. The only thing lacking here is the atmosphere. It feels a little worn down, but that is all forgotten as soon as the food starts arriving. Thai food never excited me until trying Lemon Grass. The richness of the coconut soup and the red curry leave you wishing that you would never get full. The cashew chicken and lemon grass entrees are spectacular, and definitely try the cheese rolls for an appetizer. It's tough to justify going anywhere else when you think about those items and the value that you get them for.

Great Thai. I used to work near this restaurant a few years ago. I still drive 30 minutes at least once or twice a month when I have Thai cravings. The menu is praiseworthy with many items to choose from. Seafood, fried rices, lamb and dishes featuring beef, chicken, pork or shrimp. I highly recommend the rama, the lemon grass and spicy noodle dishes. They are so good that it's hard for me to order anything else when I visit. The rama is prepared with a red curry sauce with brocolli, peppers, onions, carrots, mushrooms and basil with your choice of chicken, shrimp, beef or pork. The lemon grass has many of the same veggies but with cabbage and in a different kind of sauce. Everything is good. I love the spring rolls with peanut sauce. The shrimp appetizer is delicious too. Everything from the appetizers to desert is delilcious. The service is always friendly, promt and coureous. I highly recommend this restaurant .

Marietta Thai restaurant with food that's almost worth the wait.. The Scene
Large groups and families fill this homey, diner-booth take on the Thai standard. A harried-looking staff handles the chaos shakily, sometimes forgetting forks and special requests along the way. Appetizers arrive swiftly, but main courses take their own sweet time.

The Food
The mix-and-match sauces, plus specials and vegetarian options, make for a wide range of choices. Nam sod is a spice-free rendition of Thai pork with lime and peanuts. Fried crab lacks flavor and arrives with its inner shell cooked on. However, richness can make up for mistakes. What duck curry lacks in punch, it makes up for in flavorful coconut milk; while the lad na noodles ties its many ingredients together with a surprisingly sweet gravy.

Good value, good food, friendly service.. I went here for lunch and had the red curry with pork. It was bathed in a rich spicy cocoanut milk sauce, served in a generous portion, with sticky rice on the side.

It was served with a choice or soup or salad (I had the the cocoanut milk soup, which was rich and loaded with mushrooms and chicken) and a fried spring roll. The service was professional, attentive and courteous. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The restaurant is set back a little from the rest of the shops in this shopping center, so don't be surprised if you don't see it at first. But keep trying: it's worth looking for!

Great Thai food at inexpensive prices. Lemon Grass is a great Thai restaurant in a city (Marietta) with not a lot of great places to eat Thai. I go there mainly for lunch. Each lunch is delicious and filling and comes with a free appetizer. I always get the coconut soup (Tom Kha Gai). It's very delicious. Service is good, the wait is not bad, and the prices are great. Lemon Grass gets a 10/10 in my book.

Nice lunch. My boyfriend & I met here for lunch and it was a nice experience. This is my 2nd time at Lemon Grass and this time was even better. We shared the Nam Tok, which had the perfect amount of spiciness, and the Lemon Grass Chicken. Both dishes were cooked well w/ large portions for lunch. The service was very attentive & friendly but the best part was the value - $20 including tip.
