Outstanding service, E Smith has serviced our home since 1997. Service techs are prompt, polite and professional. In 2010 they installed new heating & AC systems as a results our utility bills have signficantly decreased. We highly recommend!

Great job for a great company! – On April 14, 2012, I had a new Carrier A/C & Furnace system put into my house. Jeff Robertson & his helper put the system in for me. They did a very excellant job. They were both helpful & explained on what was going on. They worked together to get the job done. I was very impressed on how they went about their specific job duties. I am so glad that E.Smith is my company to take care of my A/C & Furnace needs. I would recomment them to anyone that needs this service. Keep up the good work!
E.Smith Heating and Air Conditioning is an excellent company. I have used their service since 1972. There technicians are well trained and very courteous to the customer. I use their yearly contract service for the maintenance of my three heat and air conditioning units. I would recommend these folks to all my friends.
E Smith Heating & Air - Simply stated, The Best – We could not be more pleased with a company. We have a 48 year old home in Roswell GA that needed a complete make over of our Heat & Air Conditioning system. E. Smith went out of thier way to provide us with the finest products and service during and after the installation of our Carrier system. Thier on time follow up service appointments are very much appreciated. Communication is the key to the success of any business. E Smith keeps us informed at all times during the service process. We highly recommend thier products and services.

Bad ethics and bad sales tactics! – While the sales guy was at home giving me a price quote, he said he would give 10 year extended warranty on parts and labor with the manufacturer. However, after the installation was over, ESmith said that they would only give 10 year labor warranty with ESmith (and not Carrier) and that I had to maintain a service contract with some one in order to qualify for the warranty. That's cheap sales tactics to first rope in the customer and then shove in service contracts and other items that the customer didn't sign up for!!
decent job – the other places are harder to get a hold of which is the reason why i decided to call these guys. it was a good decision and i recommend them.
Get a second opinion! – Our upstairs air conditioner stopped working at the end of July. Being 8 months pregnant living in Georgia with no air conditioner is not fun. We referred to Home Reports to find E Smith. E Smith was able to come out immediately where others could not. The technician Chris R. said that the problem was with the valves inside the compressor. His diagnosis was that the "scroll compressor not pumping properly causing pressures to fluctuate badly. Compressor making slight grinding noice intermittently." To resolve this he recommended replacing entire unit & evaporator coil. They gave us an estimate the next day of $2600. Even though I really wanted our air fixed ASAP, I was not willing to shell out that money without a second opinion. As soon as we could we got another company out (Central Heating & Air). When this company came out we did not tell them we already had someone else diagnose. Instead they did their work and fixed our air for $212.00. Much better than the over Two-thousand dollar estimate that E Smith gave us. Central first found that AC was frozen & that it was low on refrigerant. He also found a leak on valve on outside which he was able to simply fix. (E Smith said that our refrigerant was not low and had a moderate level). It has been two weeks now since Central fixed our issue and our air has been working better than ever. I am SO GLAD we did not spend $2600 on a new unit as E Smith recommended. I'm not sure if they had bad intentions and were taking advantage of a 8 month along pregnant female, or they really just misdiagnosed the situation. Central did say we'll likely have to replace our unit in a couple of years, and will need it maintained for the next couple of years. But I am much happier with paying maintenance for the next couple of years and save up for the new unit in that time.
Through this experience I have definitely learned to get a second opinion first. Please do the same!
