“They have an absolutely incredible selection of jewelry with almost any gemstone you can imagine - more than I've ever seen in one location - and the staff is extremely knowledgeable.”
“PS: Gerald - Superman said don't forget to stop by our house next time you and Ginger make it back to the Pocono's for a grilled steak dinner to make up for that terrible salad we had in Honesdale!”
“After getting our menus and ordering, Gerald told me he had heard that my birthday was coming up and that I had always loved rubies since that is my birthstone and had secretly longed for one all my life.”
“great place to go and meet a talented jeweler”
“The Jeweler on the Square is obviously incapable of making a simple repair and has terrible customer service.”
“Their prices are simply unbeatable and the products are the best, that's all there is to it.”
“As they took the ~15 minutes for the repair, I enjoyed the conversation and looked through the interesting inventory.”
Great Customer Service!. I bought an engagement ring and wedding band from an estate auction and have been looking for a jeweler experienced in estate jewelry to appraise them and do some sizing. I visited a few other jewelers who were not very helpful and had high prices. Luckily a co-worker recommended Jeweler on the Square. I was able to wait while Gerald appraised, cleaned and sized my rings for me (the other jewelers wanted me to leave my rings with them) and the price was very fair. While I waited I enjoyed chatting with Gerald and Ginger about antiques, houses and their puppy. They were very friendly and helpful and I will definitely be back.
They are great.
If i need my jewelry fixed or cleaned they do great job..
thank you guys .. LOVE THIS JEWELER
Vintage Art and Jewelery at it's finest. I love Geralds Jewelery! I am a snob when it comes to art deco, I love it and can't get enough. Geralds is the best place for reasonable prices, and superb quality. When I buy from Gerald I feel secure knowing that I am not buying junk. Gerald is very picky about what he buys so you can be assured that the "junque" you buy from Gerald and Ginger will be the very best available at the best possible price.
Great Customer Service. This is the most helpful jeweler I've met in a long time. I just wanted a minor repair - nothing he was going to make a real profit on. Not only did he give me a very good price, he fixed it while I waited. The other stores I tried in the area told me I'd have to leave it for 2 weeks. It took Gerald 5 minutes and I didn't have to waste time going back to pick it up. You have a fan, Gerald.
WORST SERVICE, BAD QUALITY, RUDE OWNER.
Stay away from this store. The owner, Gerald, is the rudest man ever. I have never been treated so poorly as a customer before in my life.
I had a ring sized. A week after I got the ring back, one of the stones fell out. I took it back to get it fixed. He then wanted to charge me for tightening the other stones and replacing the one that fell out. I asked him why that wasn't done when he sized it. I assumed that would be standard in sizing ring. He said I didn't tell him that there were stones lose. I said I assumed when sizing a ring the stones would be loose from adjusting the size. He then said It isn't his fault that I am wearing a peice of junk on my finger. I was appauled and shocked that he spoke to me that way. He then said never mind and to get out of his store.
He does not care about customer service. He does not care about the work he does. He does not stand behind the quality of his work because his quality of work is subpar. Take my word for it and find another place that would be happy to gain youe business.
Rude to customers. Have been in twice and both times the guy was so rude ! The first trip a couple making conversation asked him about his dog his reply was so rude . A month or so later went up for the farmers Market and went in again. The young lady informed me the rings were half off. I had found one on the earlier visit that I was interested in. Well guess what the half off price was the same as the original price a month earlier. When I inquired why he were off on me. I'm all for supporting the Independent shop owners but not when they don't appreciate it. The ring I looked at you could walk into any big box store and pay the same price. His prices are not Estate $$$. So if you want to give your $$$ to rude store owners then this is your store !!!
Great Store, Great Service, Great Experience!!.
I was looking for a creative and honest jeweler in Marietta,Georgia to help me redesign a ring for my daughter's college graduation gift. I feel so fortunate to have found Jeweler on the Square, Gerald and his staff.
The ring turned out amazing and I will always now shop at Jeweler on the Square and will highly recommend to all my friends.
The store is filled with other wonderful and unique items ranging from antique clocks, turquoise, one of a kind posters.. I could have spent the day and didn't want to leave.
A great experience!!
Gerald was fantastic!. When my fiancée and I wondered in for just a simple finger sizing, we knew not of the amazingness of this place. We just wanted sizes so that we could then purchase our engagement and wedding rings from Etsy. In talking to Gerald, he had us thinking about our future purchases and how he could not only beat that price, but custom make unique rings. We were blown away by the selection of jewels, and my fiancée picked out a massive, indescribable sapphire... it made her breathless and weak in the knees. I knew this was a solid investment, since Gerald guaranteed us free check-ups. Can't get that online. His price was substantially lower than the one online, and again, the jewel took her breath away. I can't wait to get the ring in! I will only recommend this place to all my friends. Gerald and his crew are amazing. HAND CRAFTED JEWELERY! Love it.
A job more than well done.
When the pastor of my church said "The communion cups are looking sad. Do you think they could be fixed up?" I had to agree with him. They're pewter (I guess) water goblets, with the dents and dings that come with 20+ years of use. Of the four, three wouldn't even sit flat. I said, "Well, I know a guy who fixed some jewlery for me. I'll ask him."
Gerald at Jeweler on the Square was the guy. He didn't laugh at my poor dented cups. He didn't tell me to go buy some new ones. He did say they also badly needed polishing along with the dent removal.
When I picked up the cups, I could hardly believe they were mine. Even the worst of the dents were barely visible. The surface shown. They sat flat! New could not look good as these "fixed up" cups.
If other jewelers tell you "no, it can't be fixed", try Gerald. It was a more than fair price and more than well done.
Excellent Service and VERY Customer Friendly!. I've been to Jeweler on the square several times to sell various antique items along with appraising precious jewelry, and I've enjoyed the experience every time. The owners are always willing to take the extra time not just in providing excellent service, but in a VERY personable and friendly manner. You cannot beat their rates, experience, and personable customer service...anywhere! If you're looking for a trustworthy, reputable and friendly jeweler--to buy, sell or just browse--look no further!
