The seafood soup was good as expected, but the Greek salad was dominated by raw onion. Tthe dressing was a little different than the usual oil and vinegar. I was disappointed in my search for an authentic Napoleon (pastry). This was filled with the whipped crisco stuff I find on supermarket cakes which I usually scrape off. Although the diner was packed on Friday the service was super. I'll continue my search for an authentic pastry shop in Atlanta.

After months of passing by this restaurant, my girlfriend and I finally decided to stop in and try it out. It was recommended to my girlfriend and me that night by a salesman at a local store. We were impressed by the lively atmosphere and the nice decor of the restaurant. The staff was very friendly. We were seated as soon as we walk in. We notice it was very busy but they seemed to have had a lot of staff. As a matter of fact, I noticed at various times some of them seemed to be just standing around socializing. At least they were a tad bit over staffed this evening. The waiter brought out some bread. The bread was good. My girlfriend ordered a grilled chicken gyro which came with fries and a side salad. The serving sizes were very impressive. I ordered stuffed pasta shells and it came with a soup, salad and bread. I ordered a cream of mushroom and a Greek salad. To our surprise, the food was very bland. Almost no flavor at all. I ate mine only because I had no breakfast and a small lunch, so I was hungry. I did not enjoy the food. The best part of my meal was the soup. My girlfriend's gyro was very bland too as she broke a piece of it and had me try it. We were very disappointed and we will not go back. We have eaten at other area diners including Buckhead, Sandy Springs and Duluth. All of those were clearly above this one. Maybe we had high expectations based on the other three, but all we know is that this one had very bland food.

We would recommend this place to anyone. We were in Marietta for a baseball tournament. One morning we went to the Diner to eat breakfast. The staff was very nice and made sure they did everything they could to make our visit enjoyable. The food was tasty, good size portions and very reasonable. We left there full and happy. We liked it so much, we went back the next day for a late lunch/early dinner. Once again the food was outstanding and very reasonable. It was great that the younger ones could get breakfast food (which is what they were wanting) while the rest of us got lunch/dinner type food. I only wish we would have saved room for dessert. The desserts all looked so good, it would have been hard to choose which one to order. I wish we had a place like this where we live. If we're ever in Georgia again, we'll make sure we eat here... YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
