Best Gyro
by Francis Shoe
Loved this little Gem. Don't be turned off by the rough exterior. This place is not Chilis. What it is and a great Gyro and a great sauce to go with it. Hummus is great too. Salad was a great too....don't miss this place. Even local celebrities eat here, saw one today.
I will be back.
Wonderful

I have been looking for a Gyro in Marietta! Thanks to this site, I found you (and muddy67's description of the place I had to try it), Oh joy! Tried you for the first time today, only open for lunch (11am-3pm), that is a huge lunch window if you ask me, so not a problem. I was in and out. And it was delicious! The price, 5 bucks, Tastes like a million! Thanks ladies! (the ladies that made my gyro)
- Pros: A hop and a skip from the Square.
- Cons: parking
Warning: may be addictive!

A true "hole in the wall" but you will not regret giving it a chance. I find the interior second only to the now (sadly) closed Kool Corner Grocery. On a nice sunny day, you'll be lucky to find a table outside during the lunch rush. Great food for a great price. I stick with Nik's Special these days, a gyro, potatoes and a drink for $7.25 including tax. Nik's sauce should come with a warning label on it because I'm a junkie for the stuff. You order and eat, then pay. One time, I forgot to pay on a Friday and it bugged me all weekend long because they didn't open again until Monday. You can grab the same food for dinner at their other place on Whitlock Ave, Nik's Place/The Back Porch. About the same level of decor but with a smoky bar in the back. Service is always great at both places with friendly, down to earth folks.
- Pros: gyros, grilled potatoes, nik's sauce
- Cons: unkempt appearance, only open for lunch
one of Nick's diciples
by mlnic143
A friend turned me on to Nick's and I have honestly eaten there a minimum of three times a week since. If you can look past the exterior, you will truly find food deserving its own genre, so as not to even compare Nick's food to any preconcieved notion of what it should taste like. While the selection is rather small, everything is perfect. I never thought much of gyros and pita wraps but these are so incredibly delicious that words do no justice. When it comes to Hummus, I would wager my life savings that there is any better. I have always loved Hummus and was shocked that so much flavor could be combined in one dish without upsetting the Earth's balance. Trust me one meal and you will be born again.
- Pros: inexpensive, delicious, quick
- Cons: more addictive than, any substance known, to mankind,
The best Greek food in Atlanta!
by khouse29
A quaint little lunch joint with the best Greek food in Atlanta. Located in historic Marietta, you can grab a beer and sit inside or outside while you wait for your food. The owner is from Greece and cooks every meal himself. Affordable and absolutely delicious. I don't know what that secret sauce is but I'm tempted to swipe a bottle every time I go! While you wait or after you finish, you can cross the street and check out the folk art shop - a truly unique art shop with reasonable prices and beautiful art. If you are shopping on the square, take the time to head over to Sessions Street Grill - it is a friendly, relaxing place with incredible food!
- Pros: inexpensive, not crowded, friendly service
- Cons: parking
