Brandy's World Famous Hot Dogs1377 Church Street Ext NE, Marietta, GA | Directions 30060
33.975535 -84.553996300 Hundred People a day Cant be wrong.. Read the bad review and all I have to say is "BS". Brandys serves 3-500 people daily most of whom are regulars. The food is great and so is the staff. No dog in this fight just love their food.
You get what you pay for. tried this place today after recently seeing it voted "best hot dogs in Atlanta" in the AJC. Good grief, why? The good things are good chili, ok for frozen onion rings, low cost and really finely chopped onions.. The hot dogs are low quality and the fries are awful frozen ones not even cooked enough to be either browner or crisp. Better hot dogs are at the red hots place on Windy Hill, Wing and Burger Heaven on Sandy Plains and any Five Guys in town and those are just the ones I have tried. If you want cheap burgers at a cheap price go here but certainly not for the quality of the hot dogs.
Hot dog shack pleases the masses in Marietta..
In Short
Entering this railroad track-side lunch shack feels a bit like stepping into Mayberry. Brandi and the staff banter with any of the throngs of regulars while scurrying around filling up Styrofoam cups of smile provoking sugar-drenched sweet tea. The blue-collar crowd dive into the devilishly spicy dogs that have a curiously pink wiener covered with the smooth, drippy chili that provides its fiery kick. A sprinkle of onion and yellow mustard top this bad boy off. Standard crinkle cut fries and heavily batter-crusted onion rings are nothing to write home about, but do a good job to balance the heat. A couple chili dogs, fries and a sweet tea will set you back only around seven bones--keeping the pricing consistent with the small town charm it provides.
