“Killian Hill Auto is truly the best place in Gwinnett county.”
“Extremely poor customer service, Highest priced labor”
“They had a great guy that worked there for a long time but these new owners suck and it is so sad they can not just be honest.”
Excellent customer service & work!. This place has been a place I can trust to bring my car when it needs work. I've had several issues with my car, being it's an older model, and although I've spent a lot of money getting those issues fixed, it's been worth every penny. Even if I bring the car in for regular maintenance, they always make sure my car is in good running order. I will continue to bring my car in to this shop as long as I live in Georgia.
Find another repair service. I researched a fix for my A/C problem on the internet, see this Utube video: Search Ford Freestyle Scroll control valve. I only requested the A/C system be evacuated, replace the Refrigerant control valve (scroll control valve) then recharge system. They called and stated the system would not charge. I went to their shop and told them to put the new valve back in and would recharge it myself. While I was waiting in lounge, they miraculously got it to charge and cool. Mechanic said spring was in backwards. As you can see in Utube video, the spring is symetrical and can go in either way. Mechanics responce was "My Bad". Trust is a precious thing not to be abused. Bottom line they wanted to replace compressor. I ordered the valve online because ford will not sell it. They also want to replace compressor. Valve only cost $40.00. I will not be going back to that shop.
great srevice// fair price !!!. very nice to deal with. the repair was done in a good amount of time. really nothing bad to say they charged a fair price for all the work they did, I will be back with my other cars and tell every body that I know!!!! Thanks Terry !!
Worst repair experience ever.. We took our car in for a low idle when placed in drive and a few other issues. After telling us that we needed close to $600 of repairs due to a leaking valve cover gasket that was causing the problem, we decided not to do the repair. Then they said the car now wouldn't crank and that we needed to do the repairs to get it running again. We declined had the car towed out of there and then found out that the car was getting no spark and needed a new distributor. Did they cause the fault in the distributor? Who knows, but they should have known the difference between a firing and non-firing spark plug. Ridiculous customer service as well.
Not Honest...just wants your money. DO NOT GO HERE! Took my car in and they said I needed a lot more work than I really did... I left and went somewhere else and saved more than $500.00 on my repair. They had a great guy that worked there for a long time but these new owners suck and it is so sad they can not just be honest...has lost all my business
BEWARE: WORST PLACE FOR SERVICE. I have had the worst experience with this auto service by far. I wasted $900 on repairs they thought they made caused my car to start a fire and claimed it wasn't their fault. DO NOT TAKE IMPORTS TO THEM or ANY CAR FOR THAT MATTER. They are conniving and I have dealt with mechanics before, but this is the first time I have ever had the phone hung up on my ear. And when I sent a tow truck to get my car after they did their "analysis" they REFUSED to give it to the tow truck service and so I had to pay for two trips. They won't claim responsibility for their incompetence and I hope you all will find this review...BEWARE of a mechanic service who are snakes and won't take responsibility for their actions. Thanks to "Killing Hill Auto Service" I have no car and now bum rides off friends.
Good service. Ok don't listen to the moron who was complaining about the $700 in labor fees. Obviously they don't know anything about cars because to get to some parts they have to take off a bunch of other ones. They will test your obd1(emissions) for free and tell you what the problem is along with giving you a price for how much it will cost to fix. They also tell you how much that is in parts and labor up front so its not like they are tryon to get more money out of you.Never been upset by them
Best service you will find. Killian Hill Auto is truly the best place in Gwinnett county. They saved me alot of money. I took my car in because it did not pass inspection. Another auto mechanic gave me an estimate of $300 and when I took it to them. They found that the part had a dealer recall. They printed out the info and sent me to a Honda dealer. They didn't charge me a thing. Very good guys. They are upstanding in every way.
Above the Call of Duty !!!!. I took my car in for a check engine light issue,Even though they we're very busy Joe the service advisor took his time and explaned the problem to me.He asked one of the Techs to stop what he was doing and scan my car,he did and they discovred that the problem was covered buy a Federal emissions warranty and said that the dealer should fix it for free.I tried to pay them for their time but they said that they we'er just happy to help me"WOW" . I could not believe it!!!!!! I took the car to the dealer the next day and they replaced the catalytic converter for free!!!!!! Joe saved me about $1,200 I still can't believe it!!!! I highly recommend Killian hill Service Center
Extremely poor customer service, Highest priced labor. My experience at the Killian Hill Service Center has not been great, to say the least. First, I left my car to be looked at on Sunday evening and didn't receive a single call until Tuesday morning to inform me of the diagnosis. I was told that the parts needed to fix the car would cost $150.00 but with the labor charges added, my final total would be $848.00! That is almost $700.00 in labor costs! I called around to other service centers which all gave me quotes much lower. So I called the Killian Hill Service Center back and arranged for my car to be left out in front of the store with key in it. But when I arrived to pick up my car and assistance to help me transport my car, I found the store closed for the evening and my vehicle locked inside the fenced service yard. I would not recommend this service center to anyone after my experience!
