Terrible Customer Service!. After my trash can being broken by having it flung across the road, landing on the side, and the hinges cracking causing the lid to break off...I called for a replacement trash can. Waited for 30 minutes to speak to a human. Waited another month for a new trash can. Finally put a note on the trash can to "please replace the trash can they broke." Broken trash can picked up, no replacement trash can delivered. Now we have NO TRASH CAN!!!

still no service - MABLETON GA. Monday last week - I called for a day or 2 and got a busy signal, so I emailed Customer service to set up service. No reply, no call. Luckily last Friday I saw the driver and asked him what was going on. He put me in touch with his manager Terrance and said I would be taken care of. Terrance said someone would call me within the hour. Not to be impatient, I waited until I got off work on Monday and called Terrance back; left a message of course. Tuesday 4 pm - still no call. I have emailed the corporate office but meanwhile I have to drive my trash elsewhere. I am surprised in this economy one would have to be this adamant to get service set up.

Worst garbage service. I have been having alot of problems also with picking garbage late and my recyclable bin picked the next day. The last straw was 3 different bills. First bill was $89.50 then they tell me take $9.83 off my bill then they send me a $122.00 bill. I told them to stop my service. I had it. Now I need to find someone soon to get rid of my garbage.

OK Until The Change In Gwinnett. I've used BFI/Allied Waste for at least ten years, and really haven't had many complaints. I would have been satisfied to continue with this company if Gwinnett County weren't changing in Jan. 2009. However, the recent billing has been sheer chaos. I know I'm not allowed to say anything about purposeful overcharging, so I won't say it. But.......

Avoid getting Allied Waste Services!. Not only do they miss several pickups, but their customer service is horrible. Specially in the Lawrenceville area. And once they found out that the city was going to assign a dedicated contractor for garbage collection, AWS arbitrarily bumped up the last invoice by 98%. So my invoice went from $66.41 to $122.74!!!! They claimed is to recover costs due to the "service transition fee." Can you believe this? I refuse to pay this amount. They are the biggest crooks!

Another Unsatisfied Customer. Think the same as other reviews. I'm the only one on my street using them and I see why. Ive had several problems with my pick ups and never got credit for the 6 times it happened

Poor service for a long time, have to remind them to pick up the trash. I use BFI/Allied Waste Services for more then 10 years. Their service was so-so until couple of years ago when they started skipping the service. I would usually call the next day and they would come a day or two after that. This scenario started repeating more often last year and it continues to this day.

My trash can is still on the street tonight (Wednesday), even though pickup day is Tuesday. If I do not call them they will not come to pick it up. This is very unprofessional, as I called several times this year about the same problems, and they still did not resolve it. Their Lawrenceville customer service is always defensive when I complain.

I was lazy to find another company, but I will do it now. I'm tired of their unprofessional behavior. This is in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

Think twice. Not recommended.

Run! Run! Run! I say. BFI is the worst sanitation company that I have ever used. There is no time frame as to when you may have your garbage collected. It may be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or who knows. Customer service is not much help, either. If you call to see if the collectors will come out the day that was promised, CSRs' have no clue. Please, run, run, run......
