Best Sea Scallops I've ever had!. If you love seafood like I do you will not be disappointed. Their scallops were HUGE and plentiful and grilled to perfection with a dusting of lemon pepper and I got a little clarified butter on the side. Their Tilapia (almond or pecan crusted) is out of this world.

My other favorite is the country fried steak... now I'm a Kansas boy and thought that nobody could make country fried steak like they do back home and boy was I wrong... it is flat out, the best I've ever had. Try it with their homemade creamed corn and mashed potatoes & gravy and I promise you'll think you've died and gone to heaven. You'll need a "to-go" box because you definitely need to save room for one of their homemade desserts which change every day.

If you want incredible value, fantastic food and amazing service -than take a ride up 400 to exit 13 and pull up a chair at one of Bill Norman's tables. You'll be treated like family!

Norman's Landing. I am a frequent traveler from Chicagoland with restaurants in my family and friends who know the restaurant business. While in Cumming, GA I found Norman’s Landing on the internet, read the story of the restaurant and decided to give them a try. It was so good I went 2 nights back to back. The first night I had the pecan crusted trout and the second, the grilled scallops both superb. Portions are generous, the salad is fresh while the service is great and the atmosphere relaxing. The manager walks the floor and visits the tables as do the wait staff asking if everything is OK and if you have any other requests. I spoke with the manager who is very cordial. Smiles abound. Being of Greek decent, we have a desire to dine for the soul rather than eat for the stomach. For 2 nights this trip to Cumming, I dined for my soul. Thanks Billb! I will be back.

Great Experience!. I just moved to Cumming about a month ago and I don't really know what restaurants are around so I decided to go for a ride to see. I passed a log cabin on Peachtree Parkway called Norman's Landing so I decided to go in and try it. As soon as I walked in I loved the atmosphere. It was very welcoming with all of the pictures and different types of things on the wall. I went around 5:30ish and didn't have to wait for a table. We started off with 2 appetizers, the raw oysters and the fried calamari. The oysters were nice and big and the calamari was perfectly fried. For my main meal I got the cajun grouper and my husband got the shrimp and scallop combination. Both of the meals were wonderful. The grouper was the best thing I have eaten in a while. For dessert we had homemade cobbler. All around the food, service, and atmosphere was great. If you have a chance you should definently try it out!

Best blackened catfish. This is in our top 3 favorites restaurant list for N. Georgia. Great atmosphere, friendly service (including the owner) and the food is just great. All ingredients are fresh, no frozen entrees that seem so prevalent in the area. Vegetables picked right out of the owner's garden!

You must try to the blackened catfish (which, oddly enough, is not always available)

Editorial Review. Take a road trip towards Cumming and enjoy fresh seafood flown in daily with added emphasis on customer care.
