The Scene – Maybe it's the aging strip mall or underground digs--or maybe it was the Polish sausage at the snack bar--but the mood here is pretty subdued. It's the first choice for Emory kids, though. Several arcade games--including Golden Tee and an NBA Jam machine that skips--entertain the bowling-weary. A row of casino video games brings a touch of Vegas. – – The Draw – The retro appeal is high--apparently last remodeled in 1981, the alley boasts enough Space Invaders decor to make a thirtysomething weep. Shake, rattle and roll. The machinery could use a lube job…

I've been to this lane six times and I've never been able to complete 10 frames without the need to request a technician to fix the pinsetter/ballreturn. Expect a repair time of at least 5 minutes...be prepared to breakdown again after another few frames. I really wouldn't mind paying a little more to be able to bowl without the nagging interruptions.
- Pros: Location, Location, Location
- Cons: Pinsetter pre 70's, House Balls pre 70's, Staff could care less

Those that don't know much hate on this place, but by far this is one of the best set of lanes around town. I have played at other lanes in Atlanta but none compare to how well maintained these lanes are. A maintenace crew is always on hand constantly performing upkeep and making sure that the lanes are performing up to par. Leagues rule the world here meaning that these are some serious lanes. If your looking for a place to go and prove yourself, then step up to the plate at suburban.
- Pros: Excellent Lanes, Friendly folks
- Cons: Dead side walls
