I just love this little laid back salon, it really is a hidden jewel in decatur! I had my cut and color done by Kimberley, she was very helpful to find the exact colors that would work with my skin tone and what cut would flatter me best. And the best part of all....the price! Less than $150 for highlights and cut...and that's with the tip! Wish I found Kimberley sooner. I will definitely be back.

I found my New Salon!. When searching for a new salon and a stylist that would listen to what I wanted (and not just do what they thought would look good)... I decided to call A Natural Buzz. I go to the Petsupermarket on Scott @ Medlock a few times a month and had seen it, but never paid much attention since it was hidden in the back. I am very glad I made the call ... I called on a Thurday and got in the next day! Angela cut my hair exactly the way I asked ... nothing more and nothing less ~ Perfect! Just when I thought it couldn't get better the cost was only $30!!! Are you kidding me, for an Aveda Salon. Needless to say, I have found my salon and stylist.

Dissapointed that someone is representing these fabulous stylists so poorly. I have had fantastic experiences over the past three years at this salon - Zane is fantastic! Unfortunately, the last few times I have called to see about an appointment the receptionist was less than friendly...polite at best. I have recently tried my hand at dying my own hair...unsuccesfully. Today I called to see what I could do to get some help and the receptionist was short, distant and somewhat disengaged. Typically I can write it off and think she may be having a bad day but this was the fourth time that I have experienced the same thing. I was dissapointed to have someone representing these fabulous stylists so poorly. A Natural Buzz is a great hidden gem, but I'm afraid it will stay in hiding until they find a friendly receptionist who can answer questions AND offer to work with you and your situation. Get past the receptionist and you will find that these stylists are truly wonderful!

Best Value for Excellent Cuts and Color!!. Natural Buzz isn't fancy but the service is always great, the staff is friendly, and I've gotten consistently fantastic cuts and color there. Zane cuts my curly hair like no one else can - I recommended him to a few friends and they all fell in love with him too!

WIll definitely go back!. Always have had my hair cut here by Zane (sp?) -- he has ranged from great to just OK, but overall very pleased after I leave. There have been sometimes when the job has been rushed, but usually very focused and does a good job. The atmosphere is cute and cozy - it's like a little hidden gem !

Best neighborhood salon. I have been a customer since 2001. Maggie is their new colorist. I loved my cut and color that she gave me last time I went. She looked at me and said, "Your face is like a picture..and you need to frame it." They also gave me a discount a couple of years ago when I cut off 10 inches of my hair for Locks of Love. There is no pretention here, just friendly people.

Great cuts, great people, very informal atmosphere.. I asked for a cut that was hip but really easy to maintain and Maggie delivered! Prices are very competitive as well. Great salon!

Awesome haircut, fun stylist and free lollipops!. A Natural Buzz provided me with one of the best hair cuts I've had in a while. The stylist that took care of me, Maggie, not only gave me a great hair cut but she was also lots of fun which added to the stores comfortable atmosphere. The complimentary Dum Dum lollipops didn't hurt either. It's definitely a place that I'll be returning to whenever I need a cut and Maggie was awesome.

Awesome customer service. During the past year I've had several cuts here & good experiences each time. I recently, however, experienced a cut I wasn't satisfied with. I called to see what could be done and the staff immediately said for me to come in and they'd take care of everything @ no cost. Staff were very pleasant and glad that I returned as opposed to never going back. I recieved a second wash & cut @ no cost, and am EXTREMELY pleased -- it's an awesome cut and have recieved many compliments. I definitely recommend "A Natural Buzz" Salon.

Hmm.. Nice but not great. I visited this salon more than once, but felt rushed by my stylist. I have thick hair and he made it clear he didnt want to dry my hair on each occasion, even on a cold day. Going home with wet hair isnt what i would expect from a proffesional salon.
