Editorial Review for 17 Steps – by Jacqueline J. Holness
In Short
This sunny, albeit slightly generic-looking, store has an approachable, friendly staff and Georgia-specific gifts. These include, cookbooks by Georgia civic organizations, inexpensive holiday party decorations, and condiments native to Georgia, such as Savannah Green Pepper Jelly and Prissy's of Vidalia Sweet Onion Relish. And, there is almost an entire wall stocked with beauty products.

My experience at 17 steps has always been a delight. The staff is always helpful. I am a working mom and can't always get in. I have phoned in for gift ideas and they were always willing to work with me over the phone. The free gift wrapping is great and beautifully done! I have also ordered from their Crane's stationary and was very pleased with the results. The owner Julie Cobb is wonderful at helping decide what looks just right. This store is the best in Decatur.
Pros: Friendly, Good parking, free gift wrapping

This store is the best gift shop around. I love it !! The Vera Bradley variety is incredible, prices ... everything. IF you are looking for a unique place to get a nice gift, this is the place.
