This place is what an antique mall should be: well stocked and well styled with no musty smell. A great resource for mid-century furniture.

Tips for Kudzu Antiques

received their "staycation" e-mail July 3rd telling about their great sale through July 11th. traveled an hour to the store 4th of July morning to take advantage of such a great offer. a "sale for all the brave souls who stayed in town", and that they "had air conditioning". pull in the drive way at opening time along with 3 other cars. wait 5 minutes, 10 minutes, call the store............. they're closed 4th of July. thought maybe I'd made a mistake, drove an hour back home, looked at the e-mail......... no mention of closed 4th of July. called the charming owner George who basically said "oh, I'm sorry. we have a sign in the window saying we're closed the 4th". when I told him that wasn't good enough, he swore at me and hung up. don't know how these idiots have been in business so long. maybe he should look into another line of work that's not customer related. half a tank of gas for NOTHING!

One of the best all round affordable antique shops in Atlanta!. As a designer, I 've been shopping antique stores and markets in Atlanta for years. I have to admit, Kudzu is one of my favorites. They aren't strong in high end 'designer' type merchandise, but they more than make up for it with a good selection of fun and affordable accent pieces and highlights. Having said that, I have more than once found a wonderful piece of furniture there, and usually at an excellent price. Their new location is very nice. Clean, spacious, well lit, a big improvement over the old one. Even though I don't always find what I'm looking for at Kudzu, I usually enjoy the visit. If you like hunting antiques and fun things for the home, Kudzu is the kind of shop you want to see more of, not less.

This is a great place! It's really fun to explore.. I discovered Kudzu several months ago. What a great shop! I'm a bit of an antiqueaholic and this is really the kind of place I like to shop. Not too big, not too small, with an interesting selection of stuff to buy. But the best part is it's really affordable! The prices are mostly really good, and they don't just have "antiques", but all kinds of things. The people are really nice, and it's nice and clean and well lit, not like some dumps I've been in. It's nice to be able to go to a place that's not snooty, but not junky either. I really like this place and recommend it to anybody who likes to spend some pleasant time just browsing and looking for that next 'discovery'. Oh yea, say Hi to to Issabella the dog when you go. That's their official greeter.
