“my recommendation go on a full stomach just for the drinks.”
“The service is so great, especially the hostesses.”
“There are too many other good places to waste my money here.”
REALLY GOOD REALLY FRIENDLY ! delicious
ive been going here since ever , everyone is so sweet and their rice is my fAVORITE EVER THE CHEESE THE EVERYTHING they are so awesome its just a reall good restaurant :) owner TONY IS THE BEST :)
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. My husband and I tried Los Loros for the first time tonight. I ordered three beef tacos. When my meal arrived, I noticed that some of the cheese was discolored; there were grayish and bluish chunks of MOLDY CHEESE on my tacos. I asked the waiter to bring me the same dish, sans cheese. When my new order arrived, I moved some lettuce with my fork--only to find a HAIR (you can guess what kind). There was no mistaking it, and the waiter didn't even argue with the fact that it was likey done on purpose. We paid him $20 and assured him that we would never return.
Good food. Friendly staff. Fare is standard, but uncommonly good. Staff is exceptional!
Friendly and Fun. I've been going to Los Loros for as long as I can remember, food is not fancy but it's good. Service is very friendly, almost all the waiters know us and the owner, Tony, is very nice. The margaritas are strong and plentiful (get the pitcher), the cheese dip is good, and the menu has something for everyone!
BEST FOOD EVER!. Los Loros is my favorite resteraunt! I come to Los Loros almost every week. All of the food is sooooo fresh. Ilove the salsa, gucamole and cheese dip. The service is so great, especially the hostesses.
Great food, fast service, very freindly.. I'm a regular of Los Loros. The food is always very good. Check out the garlic shrimp, the quesadilla de fajitas, the fajita salad...heck, everything. Drink are strong and taste great. Service is great. They treat me to quick service and are always freindly. Highly recommend it to anyone.
Beware. I used to think this place was great for drinks until I saw a staff person dump a half finished maragrita back into the machine. I will never eat there again after seeing that.
No flash but good Tex-Mex and friendly service. I have been going for years and it is a Decatur secret. The chips are usually fresh and the guacomole is excellent. Great fajitias and no frills chicken enchiladas. Lunch service is excellent but dinner can be slower. Very reasonably priced.
Family owned cantina serves inexpensive, Americanized Mexican food in a Decatur strip mall..
Popular with gym-clothed Emory students and Decatur families alike, this plain, unpretentious restaurant offers all the usual "Mexican restaurant" visual cues anticipated by the red-and-green logo. Service is fast and fairly friendly.
Los Loros works just fine as the reliable local Mexican restaurant, with standards like cheese dip and enchiladas. Its menu is substantial, but many of the more traditional dishes tend to be disappointingly bland. Chips, salsa and guacamole are good, although the salsa had more heat than flavor, and the guacamole was under seasoned. Garlic shrimp cooked with pico de gallo and poblano peppers offered a generous portion but was otherwise unmemorable. Carnitos estilo michoacan--grilled ground pork with coriander and guacamole--fared better, but owing to a lack of toppings, the dish looked and tasted like a naked taco.
Huh?. How is this place rated in the same category as places like Taqueria Del Sol. The chips were crispy though not that fresh and the salsa was okay but the entree's are unimpressive and one of my dishes has an off flavor to it as if there was leftover rinsewater in the pan it was cooked in. There are too many other good places to waste my money here. Pay a couple bucks more and go to Mexico City gourmet across the street.
