Delicious Cakes and Desserts. I had their Old Fashion Chocolate Cake as the groom's cake for my wedding and it was AMAZING! Chocolate Peanut Butter Mouse Cake is another favorite of my husbands. When I order desserts at restaurants in Decatur, I always ask if they got their desserts from Southern Sweets because I know they will be delicious!

Great Desserts & Sandwiches!. Great desserts, but fantastic sandwiches. There is a home made black bean burger that is baked, and is amazing. Vegetarian husband gets it 95% of the time. BBQ pork sandwich is amazing. Desserts are awesome. They have the best rustic cherry pie - amazing crust and a perfectly tart filling.

Best Bakery in Atlanta. Great sweets!! I haven't tried the sandwiches but will. I usually can't get past the dessert case. I ordered my birthday cake here last year and it was a big success at my get together. It is also a great place to get a huge slice of cake!

Best in Atlanta. In my opinion, this has to be the best bakery in Atlanta. Everything I have had there was terrific. Fantastic desserts along with great sandwiches. The chicken salad is incredible. I would highly suggest that if you need a cake you go there.

Delicious Cakes. Southern Sweets made our wedding cake. Ashley was very easy to work with and did a phenomenal job creating just the cake we asked for. It was one of the few cakes that I have ever had that I thought actually tasted good (and it was delicious). I've also had many of their other delicious sweets - each is better than the one before it. This is a family-run business and it shows in the attention they give to detail, food quality, and service. I just wish it wasn't so far away from where I live!

Tucked deep in an industrial park near the Dekalb Farmer's Market, Southern Sweets serves up the city's best desserts--including rustic fruit pies, towering coconut and rich old-fashioned chocolate cakes and luscious pecan tarts. Make a full meal with such wholesome offerings as zingy ham and pimento cheese or smoky pulled pork sandwiches, homemade chili and gumbo or roasted chicken salad. Eat in the homey cafe setting or take away.

Best desserts around. The place to go when you need a dessert for a pecial occasion. Southern sweets has the best cakes and pies in the area. Picking a favorute would be too hard. Their new lunch menu is great, albeit alittle pricey. Don't forget a tub of their homeade Boursin cheese spread or pimento cheese.
